This is inaccurate. Hilary was out to get Neil because she felt like he caused her mother'd death (or didn't try to help her and just let her die). Mason was helping her. Hilary gave up her plot after she was given letters her mother wrote Gus, Tyler and Leslie's father. Mason is not trying to get next to Devon...his plans have not yet been revealed.

Still waiting on the revelation that Lame's twins are not Cane's children...or they are not lily's kids. And if they ever give her another man that is long term. I guarantee her eggs will still be on ice somewhere.

I completely agree. The Glow by Jabot set was great. I was in love with J.T. and Colleen, even now I have fond memories of them. It fell apart for me when Colleen was written out, but their stories were age appropriate that helped sell the whole teen set. The teen drinking, peer pressure, dealing with their budding sexuality from the more experienced to the less so, J.T. teaching Colleen how to drive and the whole Lily being preyed upon by older Kevin. The show veered off after this, but it was golden until then.

Those same writers, Jack Smith and Kate Alden, destroyed that their excellent younger set for incomprehensible reasons.

Mason is criminally wasted IMO. He had great chemistry with Summer when they were modeling that short stint, and he & Hilary were hot but a blind man can see her next destination is Devon.

Out of all the soaps, YR is the only one not establishing their younger generation. Kyle is in limbo in his love life, Summer too. I still don't care for Noah/Courtney as individuals or a couple. Lily . . . Don't get me started on that drab heifer. Devon is a bore. Abby too. Tyler had some fire but Abby is snuffing it out.

Hilary is the only youngster I care for and that says something.

YR needs to establish these characters because Victor, Nikki, Jack, and my beloved Jill have not so much milage left.

I agree...they are both very good looking. I also noticed that Devon was on 3 days out of the week and it was all about him. I can't even remember a day when this happened since VR left. I am a very happy camper. LOL.

I, too, think that these make the best romances. I think that they will have Jill butting into it. I still say that Devon suffers for lack of a mother to interfere in his romances, which is why the writers were reluctant to write him one. There is simply no drama. I don't see Neil ever playing that role in Devon life. And Lily only can go so far as a sister. But with Jill involved we could get some mileage. Not because Jill sees Devon as a son. but because she doesn't trust Hilary and will probably ride her just cause she is Jill...and Jill and Hilary have a reason to interact. They work together. I am eagerly anticipating this story.

As long as the writers don't tone her down to make her suitable then they would be great. BJ has got spirit and fire. He just needs some writing...and he needs a rivalry with another guy. Either romantic or business the way the writers are doing with Kyle and Noah.

Not even when he was a kid and Dru and Neil forgot his birthday..and Neil ended up in the hospital because he was hit by a car when they found him at the zoo...I thought that stuff was golden....and very heart wrenching...but then, I love those Winters and that matters...

    • They are mentioning Aristotle Dumas in nearly every scene now.  Good Lord.  The poor actors must roll their eyes every time they get a new script.
    • BC played Jeffrey O'Neill, her last husband- the ninth.   Yes, April Fools Day 2009 is a date that will live in infamy for GL fans but I feel we all kinda expected it at that point.  The soap press reported that GA's return as Phillip was basically the show's final chance at getting the ratings up.  A Hail Mary if you will.  It didn't extend the show's life but it was fantastic to see Phillip back in SF where he belonged.
    • I think Alexa Havins has been polarizing. A large segment of fans love her and what she's done with the role, while others say she's a good actor but they hate the way Lulu is written -- as someone who interferes and is a harpy. I personally think she's been a terrific recast.
    • The perfect camp. And maybe it's regional? I don't recall seeing a "sponsored in part by..." tag during today's end credits, either, which is usually when I see the commercials.
    • Totally agree on TMG - perfect daytime camp. I always get Febreeze commercials, and did today. I wonder why you're not, that's odd.
    • Dipping my toes back in, and Leslie continues to be THE star. Girl has brought the same energy since day one. Anita has become tons more interesting when played with her former groupmates. Kat is such a massive disappointment. I can’t stand her.
    • this was a great episode. Leslie with Jacob was lol as were the scenes with Jacob/Kat.  I like that Eva is vulnerable at times. Makes it easier to like her. The writers need to do this with Dani more. (and Leslie). The Anita scenes were also well done.  Big credit to the writers today!

date: Thursday, June 5 | Christopher Dunn, Judy Tate | Michael V. Pomarico I love the way Vernon just observes Anita and knows exactly what's on her mind and yet still allows her to explain her way out of it all. He knows his wife. LAURA IS BACK AT WORK! I am very, very happy for you, and I love that Katherine, Mona, and Nicole are there to warmly welcome her back. It's been months! Uh-oh, Ms Dana, here comes the PD to raid your ass; I just wish Eva hadn't moved the helmet and gloves, because she could be caught NOW! Sharon continues to show how absolutely ugly she is with her nasty, distasteful attitude. Shame on her. Absolute shame. Dante Greene is the devil; a truly deplorable human being who clearly felt he could walk over someone without a care by luring the other three Articulettes with him via Anita. I admire that Anita is fully aware of things right now; she's considering everything: the positive and the negative. And with Vernon's support and wisdom, she's got this locked in. Oh, more backstory! There was a hiatus to mourn Barbara, and Anita did not come back. I hate to say it, but that does happen in real life. Choice to take a break, for whatever reasons, and you don't come back together. We've seen it before. I like how humble Eva is with her position at the salon and where she came from, especially in beginning as Nicole's assistant. I appreciate that Laura is struggling to transition back into her work space and that she's re-adjusting, with everyone giving her the grace she needs. I love that Jacob is not backing down to Dana and her attempts to "woo" him. YES ANITA! STAND UP FOR YOURSELF! Vernon saw what was coming and said, "I'm going to safety! This is for the women, not me," and he yeeted himself out of there. Katherine should have an office and a badge at this point; she's more than earned it. Oh, there is a slight flirt in Nicole's eye who is enjoying the continued run-ins with Ted; she's in love with him. And that isn't changing. Go on, Anita! You fight for yourself, girl! Speak the TRUTH! Oh, look, Eva and Laura. This is interesting. Very, very interesting. Notes: Febreze and no commercial; maybe it's only Tide that garners the commercials right now? Trisha Mann-Grant (Dana) continues to serve camp, but it's camp done right. It's not a comedy or a mockery; it's pure daytime camp. I wonder who they'll cast as Dante Greene if the role comes onto the scene. I appreciate them bracing the subject matter of suicide in a way that does not come off as... cliche or in poor taste. Tamara Tunie (Anita) is continuing to show up! I love this for her. A true matriarch and legend!

I love Leslie's nicknames for everyone.  Speaking of, is she going by Leslie or Dana because Ted keeps calling her Dana now. That was a nice scene between Eva and Laura.
