Unfortunately I think Hunter is part of our lives at least through summer (or is that like late September now?). I wish they would at least consider recasting.

I kind of like Heather as a quirky B character of the teen story and she was definitely checking out AJ. She was less over the top today than her earlier stuff with Celia & Pete. You can't have a summer teen story of 2 and the show seems to be wanting Pete/Celia/Colby to be an older young adult set if that makes sense.

Liked Pete totally forgetting about Celia's little meltdown once he saw david on TV. This was their most interesting day. The whole I'm falling in love with you feels fast but okay...

JR/Cara probably has my attention more than anything else. Girl is getting herself into an even more tangled web and I can't wait to see how it plays out. I'm not thrilled the steroids are still floating around but I prefer the JR angle to a teen steroids afterschool special.

I don't mind Lea. Her "I'll think of something" when arresting Billy Clyde Tuggle was great. Bilyl Clyde makes every episode he's in more fun.

Oh, man. The Covin Factor strikes again. The only thing entertaining about Hunter was the cunnilingus sign. However, when Rebecca B. started out as Greenlee (an actual Agnes creation, BTW), she was a forever miserable bee-yotch. Maybe Hunter can be re-imagined as a male Greenlee? With better characterisation, maybe Covin can be saved. There doesn't seem to be much of the Hunter-archetype on American soaps, so there's a niche.

...or a re-cast, of course.

DW has gotten better and he was already brilliant to begin with. 2 Emmy's, Just won a NAACP Image award in 2011 and was nominated in 2012 for an Emmy for his work on AMC. I am guessing you never liked him to begin with or are not capable of seeing brilliant award winning talents in the legendary career as Jesse Hubbard. He is so great.

That's one of the bright spots of having the show take a longer break than originally planned. Now they have time to build the Valley Inn sets, Bianca's house and hopefully some Chandler Enterprises and Cortland Electronics offices.

Yes, it is!tongue.png

I'm one of those fans who originally was going to skip OLTL but I'm watching it now to support PP.

+1.

I had no problems with Hulu but perhaps it's because I'm watching late afternoons/early evenings these days?

I could imagine Miranda pushing AJ toward Heather hoping that it will relieve whatever romantic feelings AJ may have toward but then not wanting AJ to actually have feelings for Heather. Heather's not bad to me, but the actress might be straining a bit too much, she needs to relax with her delivery a bit. Funny, her scenes with Celia were better, I think.

AJ doesn't bother me, although he does remind me of every character that Andrew McCarthy played during the 80s (I get a very strong Pretty in Pink vibe from the actor).

Hunter...no comment.

Funny...I thought Jesse was understated in his reaction to seeing his stepdaughter (is she being portrayed as his daughter too now?) in that porn.

I actually like Lea Marquez. I actually appreciate the fact that AMC is making the effort to make Law Enforcement proceed with some intelligence. I hate it when soaps make the Police look like Keystone Cops. Y&R did this a lot and toward the end of ATWT, they were one of the biggest offenders.

David's press conference? Hm, I'm a bit torn. On its face, it seems preposterous that he could organize a press conference on such short notice and inside a coffee shop. It would've made a bit more sense to do it outside (and then get a ticket for filming/assembly without a permittongue.png ).

I can almost appreciate the fact that David is clearly trying to force the Cortland's hand by going to the press--this is a tactic that venture capitalists, rogue shareholders and corporate raiders use repeatedly. Although, they usually do it by either going to the Business or Tech Section of a major publication or appearing on CNBC. It's not so far fetched in that regard.

Having watched an episode of The Have and the Have Nots (*shudders*), I appreciate the pace, flow and writing of AMC a bit more today.

I watched that last night too and it left me praying to black Agnes for forgiveness that I ever complained about the AMC sets.Miranda can hang out in AJ's room for as long as she wants, so long as I never have to see the overdone stereotype of the poor black family that lives in some chanty-shack apartment with no food in the cupboards and is headed by a maitronly black woman who speaks like an escaped slave and is employed as a maid of course. Black Agnes be praised; may they never darken AMC's door with that crap.
