I understand why they are go-go-go story-wise - FV had to go balls to the wall to keep the show on the air, much like Monty all those years ago. But there was also much more quality control, and money for it therein back in those days. And Frank's taste is sometimes iffy. I love the show and what it does well even as I hate what it gets wrong, and it gets plenty wrong. It's a longer conversation for when I haven't injured my wrist, which I'm sure half of SON helped bring about with black magic. So, success, you guys! Result!

On another note: "No, silly! Felix likes boys!" was adorable. I just like that a kid like the little girl playing Emma will grow up in an environment and a climate where she can be that matter-of-fact and it's no big thing. It's sweet. I'm easy. Also I just took pain pills.

I was thinking the same thing about Emma today!

I totally get that drive to save the show, it made sense. But now the show is overloaded with characters and story and it's just all too much. It's so busy, I feel like Nikolas getting shot is given the same importance as Sabrina graduating from nursing school!

I would say less so bc there was no buildup to it. We didnt even get a chance to let Nik being back settle and then he's shot. Already seems like a waste of a return. Let me guess, he remains in a coma for weeks as we wait for Lulu to return and her captor to be revealed to everyone?

It is. And that's a problem.

I don't mind GH becoming an action-centric show again, and having a large canvas. And I think a lot of it is great. But RC and FV's scale for balance, as well as character, has been all over the place for quite a while. They don't have the quality control for their daily shows that they did five years ago. The show is often very seat of their pants. And sometimes I think they prefer it that way. I admire ingenuity on the fly, because that is my business, but not if the quality consistently degrades.

Felix (to Milo): "I don't mind if you ask Sabrina out"

Emma: "Well I do dry.png "

rolleyes.gif Over this disrespectful, pressed ass little girl.

Felix's jealousy over Milo is embarrassing to watch. He needs to GET OVER IT. He rejected you MONTHS ago. Why is Milo acting so clueless? Did he forget Felix has a crush on him? I found it surprising when he said they've been gym besties for a while now. Oh, whatever! rolleyes.gif

Did they really bring Nik back only to have him shot right away and put into a coma? WTF is that? I mean wow, not even one solid scene between him & Laura... e8099.gif

^^^Crush? Sabrina has a crush. Felix wanted to have sex with a perfect stranger. That is hardly anything Milo should or needs to remember. If F's feelings are hurt, too damn bad. It's shameful that someone wrote not so long ago Felix propositioning this man only now it has turned into "feelings"? Milo is not acting clueless. As far as he knows, this is over as he told a stranger in a bar that he was not gay and would not be having sex with him. Now, this stranger has popped back up and is conveniently a friend doesn't change that we saw Milo already tell this man that he's straight.

Idiot "writers"!

Nothing against Lesley but Helena kept her a doped-up prisoner for over a decade, so how is she going to be able to protect anyone from Helena? What a random reason for her to not be there. I wonder if they tried to get DA back.

LOL Alexisfan, I usually don't come for you but did you really use a pic of LC from 30+ years ago against her Stretch Tight days to prove a point? You could easily just compare a Stretch tight from 5 years to now and not look so..desperate.

It's all about a moment of shock - not well-acted or written shock, just shock - and nothing else. No one, even the mother, gave a [!@#$%^&*] when Sam's baby died. I was amazed. They were basically telling viewers not to even bother caring. None of these stories have any stakes.

    • I wouldn't call Tomas' cuts a modern cut. They appear to be a slim/extreme slim cut⏤cut slimmer down the sides, with a higher armhole, which pulls up/out, depending on the fit of the person's body. Again, I feel like Ms Featherstone is buying to fit the wrong parts of the body; instead of buying to fit their widest parts (shoulders), she's buying things to fit their middle/waist (which is the easiest to ultimately fix without a complete re-cut), and it shows in the finished product. And the only reason it irks me is because I worked in suit sales for nearly ten years, and I notice these things immediately. The fashion(s) on this soap are miles ahead of three of the four others (I like the fashions from Y&R), but the tailoring is a choice, especially where the men are concerned.
    • There probably would have been a good chance they knew of him, especially with his ties to Spaulding and his being involved in so much scandal (meaning there would be plenty of photos and articles around they both would have seen), but I agree the mask was silly, clearly just a TV moment.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
