NBC's promo department, to their credit, made the show out to be this super-hot, super-sexy drama that would make your teeth sweat with passion. Then, you'd watch the show, which was just so amateurish sometimes, and you'd feel like Aunt Bea on "The Andy Griffith Show" after the traveling salesman sold her booze masked as elixir.
