January 15, 201313 yr Member Robin Mattson played it so well but yeah ... I agree with you. I really wasn't fond of their writing for her for the most part. I mean, I completely bought Faison's lunacy and Hove really made me believe it and while, again, Mattson is a great actress and I just kind of accepted the writing because she brought a great deal back to the show, but I wish they would have just delved into Heather and her psyche a little bit more. IDK, I know some are going to say they did, but I wish they had done more with it now looking back on it. I don't think they delved into Heather's psyche at all. She was needed to facilitate the baby switch that really meant nothing to the show outside of giving Todd something to do/sealing him to the GH canvas (in addition to his relationship with Carly). Then Heather just was doing silly stuff to keep the audience laughing/distracted. Wheeling Anthony around in a barrel while looking like the Morton Salt Girl was for what? She was doing all this crazy stuff for Steven Lars while the audience was shown very little SL/Heather. Liz was left out when I thought the opportunity was there to fight Liz for SL's affections. I can't think of any meaningful thing Heather did. She was just another clown, not much different from Kawny, with the exception of acting.
