He should have done two separate tweets definitely First off that book is a freakin year old! Did he really have to promote it again this week? Be safe oh yeah and buy my cookbook with whatever money you have left after buying supplies my east coast peeps!

again whats the problem? The book is a year old but its now being re-released in a new format as well as getting a new printing of the hardcover edition. I cant believe he is being knocked for this. I cant hate on anyone who's helping to raise money for a good charity

Pushing a cookbook off the back of a widespread storm? Really?

"Stay safe and buy my cookbook."

He really should've been considerate to those of us on the East Coast such as myself and seperated that into 2 tweets

I think the cause behind the cookbook is FANTASTIC and it is perfectly acceptable for him to promote it...that being said, that should have been two tweets. I completely believe he was being genuine, but that could be easily misconstrued.

I don't see how it is that serious. Its not like he will personally benefit from the book. It is just a tweet.

I beleive its bc its Steve Burton and about hating on him. I doubt much of an issue would be made if it was someone like Erika Slezak promoting the book. The way the tweet was laid out, it looks like it was most likely an error anyway since there's no break between thoughts. He most likely forgot to press enter after he pasted the link and kept going. Honest mistake to make but considering who he is, I guess its no surprise someone would be crticizing him

People trying to cram too much into 140 characters can end up regretting it. It's like bad punctuation re: Eats, Shoots and Leaves.

No he always does stuff like this. Like when he was pushing his latest venture by using AMC and OLTL's cancellations!

Yeah, the Twitter analyzation is ridiculous. Not specifically here, just overall. I mean, I find it really sad that whole segments on news and talk shows are devoted to tweets. We have way too much connection with each other anymore lol.
