If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times: an audience will go wherever you want them to, but you need to take the time to get us there. Going from A to E and skipping B through D isn't innovative. It's lazy, and it pisses people off worse than suggesting "So-and-so's about to do something really crazy!" in the first place. History, and listening to people defend the most incredible b.s. on GUIDING LIGHT in the most incredible ways, taught me that lesson a long time ago. Meanwhile, about RC's previous comments that if one does not like his approach to these characters and stories then perhaps the show isn't for them? But in all seriousness, unless those comments have just been moved to a separate thread - which I would completely understand and hope is the case - deleting them is a perfect example of the soap press failing to hold a member of TPTB accountable for his (very public) actions.
