April 5, 201214 yr Member What started out as a nice homage to Caroline I has turned into a Ridge creepfest. The way he looks at this woman (who's younger than his daughter) comes off as borderline obsessive. And I certainly don't trust B&B not to go there. And I'm sure the way I burst into laughter at Ronn Moss' "grief" was not what B&B intended.
April 5, 201214 yr Member B&B must have the creepiest older men on daytime. I'd still like to see more complexity in how Stephanie, Taylor, and Brooke felt about the first Caroline, even if they see this Caroline as a pawn.
April 5, 201214 yr Author Member omg, the Carolnie scenes today were so heavy handed. Oh and she even has a tattoo of the cancer ribbon. It was too much today and it did nothing for me as this girl had no connection to Caroline. Her mother never even knew her.
April 5, 201214 yr Member I know I already asked this, but are they saying Caroline had breast cancer? Or is that just an unofficial ribbon for any type of cancer or leukemia?

The next Mrs. Ridge Forrester has been identified. Bill Sr. is probably spinning in his grave.
April 6, 201214 yr Member I don't really have a problem with the Ridge/Caroline thing. I hope they DON'T go there, but it is refreshing to bring this very important part of the show's history to the present. (Remember in several countries the show was called "Caroline".) The irony is that RM is the lead credit in the opening, but he is a definite #3 of the original 4, so I don't mind giving him some screen time and someone outside of the usual circle, but with roots firmly planted in the show's history. With the long hair, old Caroline and new Caroline - so similar. (I remembered Caroline with shorter hair.) I thought it was interesting the Stephanie told Caroline that she loves Amber. Really? What's the history behind that? Is it tied to Brooke? Lord, please keep RM from crying - ever again!
April 6, 201214 yr Member When Amber first came to town, as trash, Stephanie felt a little sorry for her, especially when a pregnant Amber risked her life and her baby's life to try to save Stephanie from Sheila. I think she had a soft spot for Amber for a while after that, although I could swear she'd turned her back on Amber in Amber's last years in LA.

It was too much today and it did nothing for me as this girl had no connection to Caroline. Her mother never even knew her. I just watched this and that scene where she showed the tattoo on the back of her neck was a little disturbing. It made me think she was actually some alien. It really took me out of the scene, which up to then had been nicely done.
April 7, 201214 yr Author Member I see Jacob Young has been hitting the gym. He looked yummy with no shirt on
April 7, 201214 yr Member They avoided the full body angle, compared to Thomas, but I just wish they could tell him to avoid the spray tan. I did like that Caroline called Hope over so she wouldn't have to deal with men fighting over her.
April 7, 201214 yr Member I haven't seen Friday's episode, but I actually thought Ronn Moss did a really good job on Thursday. I think you've put the finger on what I find so insufferable about her---she's never ever held accountable for her actions. Her tricking Liam into marriage isn't supposed "to count" because she's got Bill's support. Her schemes to "keep Hope out of her marriage" aren't supposed to count because, after all, she's married to the guy. The fact she's bad-mouthing Hope while married to Liam isn't supposed to count because she's "only holding Hope to the standards Hope's set up for herself. Even now, refusing to sign annulment papers isn't her fault, she's simply following the law. It drives me nuts. Steffi's only considered to have integrity because it's been established that she'll do anything she has to do to get what she wants. She's not going to "crawl back" to Liam, but if she can find a legal way to "wait him out" and hope he'll treat her like sloppy seconds, hey---she'll do it. WTFE. This "crisis" Forrester is in is her fault---not Hope's. Or, it's just as much her fault as Hope's. There would be no "media frenzy" if she had simply had the courage to own up to her schemes and ADMIT she married Liam under false pretenses---ie, hustling up a wedding before he could talk to Hope---and given him an annulment. Instead, she couldn't bear the ridicule of being thought of as "a mistake" and refused. (Actually, I don't understand this "media frenzy" whatsoever---apparently calling a press conference and announcing your engagement to someone who's "married" isn't clear enough for the Moral Outrage Police to give you a pass for a PDA a month later.) +1 Although Hope is far from perfect, I see zero redeeming qualities in Steffy.
April 8, 201214 yr Member I have to say I am enjoying the introduction of Caroline so far. B&B entertains me everyday and I guess ultimately that is the point....to be entertained. I do however truly despise Steffy and her ridiculous ear biting and her cha cha cha's to Liam. OMG she sucks LOL
April 8, 201214 yr Member I kinda like Caroline, but the most exciting things for me, are the two things that will be dropped---Amber and a flawed Hope. You just know Amber is going to get kicked to the curb and she's breathing so much life into the show and Hope will be Sainted any day now.
April 8, 201214 yr Member Is it possible that Caroline is a Forrester? Karen/Thorne hooked up, right? Did Karen/Ridge?
April 8, 201214 yr Member Is it possible that Caroline is a Forrester? Karen/Thorne hooked up, right? Did Karen/Ridge? I doubt it. She would have no romantic options at all if she was a Forrester. (Well except Marcus I guess, but that is highly unlikely)
