December 7, 201213 yr Author Member I've gotten to the point where I won't buy anything but organic fruits and veggies, they just taste better. I'm losing interest in eating all kinds of meat, beef just looking at it makes me wanna hurl. I'm drinking nothing but water these days, no pop, tea or anything like that.
December 7, 201213 yr Member Pop? Midwest or upstate New York? I very rarely drink soda. I don't buy it. Every now and then I'll have a craving for a really cold Coke or Dr. Pepper if I'm having pizza though.
December 7, 201213 yr Author Member Pop from Ohio, you say Soda here people like at you like you have two heads When I lived in CA I got to saying "Soda" and when I moved back here it drove my family insane lol
December 7, 201213 yr Member LOL, yeah, my friend from Buffalo always said pop. And of course Sweet Brown : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udS-OcNtSWo In certain places down south, they call ALL soda Coke ("Co'Cola"). Were you ever a coffee drinker? I think that would be the hardest for me to give up.
December 10, 201213 yr Administrator I'm drinking nothing but water these days, no pop, tea or anything like that. Same here. I'm just drinking water and one cup of milk in the morning. Whenever I go out, I always or a "pitcher of water". LOL I don't like the taste of coffee either.
December 10, 201213 yr Member Today, I had no coffee, just green tea. I made my post-workout chocolate protein drink with unsweetened vanilla almond milk instead of cow's milk and it was delicious.
December 10, 201213 yr Member It's amazing how many different and popular naming variations there are for carbonated drinks in the English-speaking world. The US is split between "soda," and "pop," Canada seems more fond of using "pop," and in the UK it's most commonly referred to as "fizz." Edited December 10, 201213 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
December 10, 201213 yr Author Member My cousin recently moved back to America after living in New Zealand for a year and if I remember right his wife said that pop there is called fizzy water lol
March 24, 201412 yr Member Bringing back this old thread, because I've been surprised at the uptick lately in glassy-eyed militant veganism. It amazes me how many people have drunk the kool-aid of the militant vegan movement, and how much misinformation is being spread around in the name of not killing animals, which is ALSO a complete falsehood. This interview gives a great overview: Edited March 24, 201412 yr by alphanguy74
