Unpopular Opinions: 2012 Edition

B&B:

Eric & Stephanie are by far the best couple the show has ever had.

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is a good actress and brings a lot to the show.

I never liked Sally until around year 2000. Before I thought she was a pain and was much worse than she accused the Forresters of being.

Ridge was at his best with Caroline. No one else was better for him. I would like him with Karen now, with Joanna Johnson back full term.

Bill Spencer is awesome.

I watch B&B because of Eric & Stephanie. I would not watch the show if they were not on.

Never liked Macy, only when she was paired with Deacon. Macy & Deacon were terrific.

Never liked the Logan family. Hypocrits and bores.

Hope is one of the worst characters ever.

Felicia, Thorne and Kristen should be back on contract.

Never liked Sheila, not even as the show's psycho.

Loving that B&B is getting rid of Lesley-Anne Down, Brandon Beemer. Not upset that Jack Wagner is gone either.

Liam is not worth 2 pretty girls fighting for him.

Amber & Thomas were a nice couple.

Hating Pam & Donna, their fights are NOT amusing at all.

GH:

Happy that Robin is gone.

Sonny & Carly (Laura Wright) is the best couple on the show.

I prefer Luke with Tracy any day over Laura.

Dante just should go away.

Never seen the fascination with Jason.

Elizabeth is the most boring character.

Jerry Jacks is one of the best characters.

Loving the mobster stories.

DAYS:

Sami should be with Lucas.

Chloe & Philip were a terrific couple.

Hating John & Marlena.

Would not miss Bo & Hope.

The show can be extremely embarrassing/lame.

Y&R:

Hating Nikki. Find nothing interesting about her.

Nick & Phyllis is much much better than Nick/Sharon & Jack/Phyllis.

Liked Jack & Sharon together.

Dislike Kevin.

B&B is better than Y&R.

I have always had a real fondness for Susan Flannery as an actress, and Stephanie as a character (although she has stopped being a character in recent years), but I've never bought Eric/Stephanie. He spent years trying to get away from her and I preferred her with other men. Honestly, I've never liked Eric - he just seems so cheesy to me.

I'm sure that's a big part of it but I never cared all that much even when B&B was at its peak. There's something about his work which just makes it tough for me to invest, it's like a parody of a soap actor. I think his best work was as the game show host on Alice.

To me they were one of those couples who shouldn't have reunited. The whole premise of B&B was about their marriage being a lie and how they shouldn't be together (IMO), and I thought Stephanie was better when they brought in the homeless guy.

I thought one of those moments which you can't go back from was when they said Eric had been conning Stephanie for years, or whatever it was they said - didn't they say this around the time Massimo came in? Or am I wrong? I can't remember. It seems like Brad Bell just wants to ignore that whole Massimo story.

They've done so much damage to so many couples it's hard to keep up.

He pretty much has to.

He spent almost 5 years making The Marones a core family (including de-Forresterizing Ridge) only for it to all end as one big failure.

They definitely should have, although they may have thought she was too old, or they felt that since Gina was popular on GL, she would be on OLTL. She was always a huge black hole on OLTL, from her first scene to her last.
