February 29, 201213 yr Member Starr has pretty handwriting. She does, actually. Wish she could give me some pointers .
February 29, 201213 yr Member I don't see how it changes the last 3 years of story and why bother when the actor playing Ethan is leaving anyway.Does this changes Lukes cheating or Laura as the boring housewife who's lifestyle he hated. Its not like this change drives any new story. They could have said his father was unnamed Well maybe they'll have an explanation for everything. This is, after all, Holly's 1st day back. And Robert should be the father. He deserves another kid.
February 29, 201213 yr Author Member Am I the only one that doesnt care that they killed off Hope? I don't really care either.
February 29, 201213 yr Member LOL....glad its not just me. We'd probably rarely see her anyway and its not like she's needed to carry on some Manning/Cramer legacy for the future of the soap
February 29, 201213 yr Member LOL....glad its not just me. We'd probably rarely see her anyway and its not like she's needed to carry on some Manning/Cramer legacy for the future of the soap I don't care about Hope, I just care that they had to do some stunt death for a child for no apparent reason other than more of Michael making doe eyes. If your character is so destroyed that random kids need to die for people to feel sympathy for you, then it's time to go. It also gives the idea that RC just has no real stories to tell.
February 29, 201213 yr Author Member she's obviously not dead. Starr is Helena's daughter so Helena left Cole to burn but is raising Hope on a compound in Czechoslovakia only to return in 6 months as a 56 year old amnesiac.
February 29, 201213 yr Member Wait, why would Starr stay in Port Charles if Cole and Hope died? It doesn't make any sense. I'm guessing because she'll be a witness in the cases against AZ (for leaving the scene of an accident) and Sonny (for causing said accident -- assuming he did).
February 29, 201213 yr Member Oh my God, sure it's fiction, but you all are heartless not giving an eff that a child is dead!
February 29, 201213 yr Member So, we've had explosions, car crashes, gunplay and three deaths all in five episodes. Tell me, again, Daytime Confidential, why RC and Valentini are godsends when it feels like Guza and Phelps have simply come back from vacation? Oh my God, sure it's fiction, but you all are heartless not giving an eff that a child is dead! A child we met five minutes ago. I have no connection to these dead people.
February 29, 201213 yr Author Member I mean obviously it's sad that Hope is dead, but it's hardly BJ!
February 29, 201213 yr Member As a OLTL fan I find this disrespectful. I HATED when ATWT killed off several MAJOR Another World characters and I never watched that show! It's so unfair to the fans of that show. Why not just send these characters back to their original town when the story ends? It's not like you're going to have a big, splashy AW/OLTL funeral for them or anything. In this case we know at least Hope will be alive, but how long will we wait to find out? If it's a long time, then I don't wanna watch Starr grieving or falling in love with Michael instantly. There is also NO WAY she'd stay in Port Charles when her huge family is in Llanview. She's not even 21 yet. On OLTL Carlivati killed all of Jessica and Natalie's love interests (and both of Jess' baby daddies) and now Starr's daughter AND baby daddy? Just in the context of GH, we had to deal with Jake last year and this is just as bad IMO. We watched Starr grow up and this is the daughter of an important family. Nobody wants to watch a child die, let alone repeatedly in a silly story. I don't care that she may eventually be alive. I was feeling confident, but I was still worried about Carlivati's take on GH. I now see I had reason to worry. I know many were worried he'd turn it into OLTL-lite, but I figured it would be a different kind of stupidity and I was right.
February 29, 201213 yr Member Sam has more sympathies for Sonny than for Robin's husband? How nice of her
