Damn you for bringing up that horrid creature. I'll second Malloy's GL work, as well as Hearst's B&B role. It's too bad Bell is so entrenched in propping the eternal Brooke/Ridge/Taylor triangle. Whip made Taylor almost relevant and self-sufficient.

January 26, 201214 yr Member Gillian Spencer - incredibly popular in every soap role she ever did (Robin GL/Jennifer ATWT/Viki OLTL/Daisy AMC), which may be a record.
January 26, 201214 yr Member I'm surprised Roger Howarth hasn't been mentioned for Todd (OLTL) and Paul (ATWT). Personally I didn't like his Paul, but he has a lot of fans so I was sure he'd be mentioned early in a thread like this.
January 26, 201214 yr Member Judi Evans, Kirsten Storms, Robert Kelker Kelly, Heather Tom, Don Diamont, Peter Bergman came to my mind first.
January 26, 201214 yr Member What about Ruth Warrick? There's an episode of hers from the 50s on ATWT on YT and she's SO not Phoebe, and great (she is more Phoebe ish on Peyton Place though great as well but that's not a daytime soap...)

Ive always felt most people that were fans of him as Paul were really fans of RH himself. I know of several people who followed him from OLTL and it wouldnt have mattered what character he was playing Edited January 26, 201214 yr by Cheap21
January 26, 201214 yr Member I know a lot of people here don't like her (I like her less now myself), but still: Farah Fath (Mimi on DAYS, Gigi on OLTL (less as Stacy! ) And now, of course, I will run for my life...

January 26, 201214 yr Member There was a lot of hatred for her behavior but I think people usually liked BE's work. I think that's the main reason she hung around long after Krystal became pointless. When I look at Krystal I see none of Macy. I didn't realize BE was that good of an actress until I saw her on AMC. I am not aware of her work as Macy but BE's herself is a very sympathetic actress. Even through Pratt's assassination of her character with the Marissa business she was still able to give Krystal some form of heart and compassion, which is a pretty tall order for a woman who sold her daughter away for money. I still say she is a stronger comedic actress then say a dramatic or romantic one. I am still surprised she got all those Lead Actress nominations a category that usually favors strong, complicated and harsh dramatic performances. I hated her in both roles...lol. I also heard she is a big diva....ugh......she isnt all that.... Sharon Case is a very understated actress. I can see why some may not like her performances, she underplays a lot of her material compared to the likes of her other contemporaries. She reminds me a lot of Melody Thomas Scott in that way.
