January 1, 201214 yr Member Come back Cheap! Max & Gabrielle are here! Unfortunately, a few seconds of this episode are missing for me, because my tape wasn't on LP (it has the first two and the beginning of this one, though). I put in a second one, so hopefully I'm good now . Edited January 1, 201214 yr by MissLlanviewPA
January 1, 201214 yr Member It would have been awesome if they played the episode where Eterna exploded and everyone escaped. I would prefer that to the 2005 episode. But I will take what I can get!
January 1, 201214 yr Member No Eterna, and I don't see any signs of Lois in this episode... I think Megan's death is next so we are sadly done with the Rauch era.. That's too bad. That was the most memorable era, and so many random things come to mind: The Buchanans trapped in the room with the trap doors, Tina about to be burned alive in a crematorium, Cord being forced to battle criminals in a professional wrestling match, everyone in Eterna realizing everyone else was down there too....and the great Lois Kibbee. Megan's death was ok but the show was starting to lose its charm. They had a fake Tina by that point and the good old days were over basically.
January 1, 201214 yr Member In the 80's I read an interview with a Set Designer and he said that OLTL's sets were always on the larger side, and It is true. That saloon set is huge. OLTL always had that small studio in the armory building so I don't know how they did it.

The bomb shelter storyline with Didi and Deliah was fantastic- "Faux Bo".. As the years go on I look at Malone's run with less and less enjoyment, but I still respect alot of what they did. But it does not hold up as well, and I find a great deal of it boring.
January 1, 201214 yr Member Was Gabby married to Steve at one point? I swear I remember something like that.
January 1, 201214 yr Member Was Gabby married to Steve at one point? I swear I remember something like that. Brenda was married to Steve and she was pregnant with twins, but one twin died in the womb as a result of an overzealous x-ray.
January 1, 201214 yr Member Was Gabby married to Steve at one point? I swear I remember something like that. Yes, she married him in 1988 when she couldn't have Max, but she and Max slept together one night when it looked like Steve wouldn't wake up from his coma. Brenda fell in love with Steve while, as his nurse, reading his journals to him while he was in his coma (as you do).
January 1, 201214 yr Member Was the around the time of the exploding wedding cake? Before that, as Steve and Brenda were going to get married and have their baby (Steven) when the cake exploded.
January 1, 201214 yr Member Oh my god!! That's not Bo! That is Patrick London!! Exploding Wedding Cake was November of 1988.
January 1, 201214 yr Member So Steve did die then? this storyline stands out in my mind, I remember Steve being shot
