^^^ That entirely depends. Is Carlivati a fan of GH, too? Because what got him through OLTL was the fact that he adored that show and knew its history. If he's on a show where he doesn't really know the history? God knows how it's going to hold up.

Don't forget that GH is dead man walking -- ABC want rid.

Finally, Frons is going to be MUCH more implicated in storylining and how stays on the frontburner than he ever was on OL. I shudder to think if he tries to get Michael Easton onto the show.

I know Ron started watching GH in the late 70's(?) - Rick/Monica affair, Luke/Laura and the Cassadines. Not sure if he continued to watch GH as closely as he did OLTL. And he did occasionally watch GH when he was writing OLTL.

Perhaps Ron can revisit Monica, Luke/Laura and the Cassadines and give all the characters closure before the show goes off the air.

I'm not a fan of Ron's writing but I do hope that this is true and he goes to GH it will be a real test of his writing skills.

This seems to be the same move ABC made with AMC hopefully it works out and GH fans get some decent storytelling for the shows end.

There's different gossip on that one, and considering how negative soap fans are onine in general how do we know the cancellation rumours are the accurate ones? Nothing has come from an "official" source yet.

Who is Courtney Phelps?

Technically very experienced. But mercurial and a loose cannon.

I'm more than certain it's her daughter. Which given that there have been two characters on at least two of the shows she's produced (AW & GH) with that name, who were both killed off, is both rather odd and somewhat unintentionally hilarious to me.

who cares? this will have teh same effect as letting Guza go and hiring Wolfe as HW. The show is DONE! Too late to make a difference

Couldn't have said it better myself.

They need to treat this show like the rabid dog that it is and put it out its misery.

Seriously, though, I DO wonder how much difference this is truly going to make, but hey! Take all of the joy while you can.
