But in my heart, I think Bucky and Bobby need to go. Bucky is totally forgettable, and Bobby was the worst. We'll see. Choosing the men is tough.

Lol, I didn't get the "Chester, Chester child molester" vibe from him, but I agree he is weird. He just looks so old. I mean, for him to be 29, couldn't he do something to look younger? I guess he's just comfortable with his appearance and doesn't want to change for anyone. I like that about him.

Only three I see as ABSOLUTELY in the top 12 are Taylor, Ace and Chris. The other three spots are up for grabs.

All I can say is this...if these are the best 24 singers they could find out of the thousands that auditioned for this season, then there is a serious problem in America. Sure, there are about at the most five or six with potential, but overall this has to be the weakest group of singers assembled for public consumption since the Spice Girls.

The guys in fact are a total embarrassment on the whole....it should be a top three or four. 12 is a total waste of time. Instead of this two-hour debacle we had tonight, I would have been fine with one hour followed by fresh episodes of Arrested Development....although this AI edition could have been titled Arrested Talent.

Please keep in mind I am usually not one to go on with negativity such as I just spewed (and I LOVE IDOL), but I am really bothered by what just came across my television. Compared to seasons past, if this is the cream of the crop, then it was a very poor harvest this year. And what are these kids thinking of when they make their song selections? The majority of the guys sounded like they were either a)auditioning for a cheap Vegas show b)auditioning for a travelling chorus of an off-Broadway production or c)singing in a airport hotel bar.

And will someone please pull Paula Abdul aside and advise her to stop having multiple orgasms on-air every time any individual with male genitilia gets on stage? I'm embarrassed for her! Hasn't she had enough? Someone please get that woman a man before she explodes in front of our very eyes!

I sampled Fantasia's CD. She's lacking something.......TALENT.

I love R&B, but really I love all kinds of music... unfortunately, I am not a fan of Fantasia's "style" of singing... it annoys the hell out of me... so she may appeal to many people, she's just not for me

Taylor is my favorite guy....personality-wise.

My picks as well, although I loved Stevie during auditions and Hollywood week, she blew it bigtime.

I think the 50+ crowd will be voting for Bobby and Kevin so they will be safe for another week.

I just think Taylor is weird. Straight up - I could see him molesting children or something...haha. He's just creepy to me - I don't know. Oh and him playing that harmonica made me cringe bc it was so awkward.

Collectively, this is the worst group of idol contestants the audience has ever seen. I was embarrassed for a lot of the contestants during their performances. I agree with another poster that last year's talent overall was much better. There is something definitely lacking this season.

Well I wasn't really judging him on his looks - I mean it's more his personality and the way he carries himself that creeps me out for some reason...hopefully that changes. I like the harmonica! I honestly used to play one back in middle school...lol - I just thought the way he walked up on the judges and then the way he played it went along with his personality and style....which to me made me awkward watching.

Sorry though if anyone got offended! Maybe he'll change for me

Happy to see that many like Taylor. As i said...his performance out of the guys and girls..was the only one that brought me to tears!! I dont know...but there is something about this guy that touches me...right from the start!! He is just otally different with his style of music and the way he carrie's himself!! He is like a complete joker..but he is so down to earth and so honest!! It shows on screen too!! Go Taylor!! I dont think he will win Idol but he better damn well make the Top 12.

How does it work in America? Do the Top 24 make album deals..or is it just the Top 12? Here in Canada it is the Top 10 that are able to make albums.
