I like the Elliot dude, he's got a great voice. That Tarrell dude, what's up with him? I wanna knock him out to get him to shut up. And his brother too. Drama queens much!? They can't sing all that well either. They're blah singing wise. Go Simon! Funeral home dude RULES. I love him.

I have to say I like everyone they've put through. Taylor Hicks does nothing for me. I predict he's this years Scott Savol.

I like Kellie, Katherine, Paris, and Ace. Those four will go far and Kellie has the whole emotional background going for her too. These four are all likeable.

I think the male final 12 is pretty bad but there are alot of talented girls so that race should be interesting. This competition should be fun next week. Anyone knows the times and days next week or if they are gonna go to 3 times a week?

I was waiting the the big twins bomeshell about their arrests. I don't think they would have made it anyway but boy did I hate them. I also hate Taylor Hicks. His facial expressions and hand motions annoy me and his voice isn't all that good. I think he could be this year's Scott too but I don't know. He is quiet and he really isn't that likeable so he may get kicked off early.

Now the fun begins :D .

Anyone else not like Kellie Pickler? I think she is going to be the Carrie Underwood of this season...and I didn;t like Carrie at all. I just don't buy the whole "naive country girl" thing that they try to sell. I like the big black girl whose name I can't remember...she seems very sweet and a really good voice. I also like the slightly !@#$%^&*]y girl whose name I think is brenna. Katherine, the first girl to get through was good also. For the guys of course I like Ace just cause hes so pretty, I dont't even remember what his voice sounds like, lol. I also like the 17 year old crooner.

Gosh, I'm bad with remembering names but I liked Ace and Paris Bennet. Kellie Pickler doesn't impress me. She's like a watered down Carrie Underwood. I liked that one young guy who does the low key classical blues or whateverthehell it is that he sings (the same type of stuff that the redhead from 2 years ago would sing alot).

Overall, I'm not too impressed. Too many bland girls with nothing strikingly special and guys that are not visually appealing.

That little boy with the glasses... I can't believe he made it through. Who would want to listen to that voice? It sounds like he sucks in air through the sides of his mouth when he sings/talks. The sound reminds me of that one character Amy Poehler does on Saturday Night Live where she's a hyperactive girl with braces who talks funny.

    • Wow, do I agree with you. Chelsea is coming off as ridiculous. All she does is look for a woman to date while not caring about her business at all. That she's bi is great, but they're not writing her like she's bi. She seems to be lesbian. Yeah, I know -- "no labels." I just don't find the writing for her story to be anything other than awkward.   -- I hope we get some diagnosis finality with Bill's trip to the hospital. I don't want to see these trips to the ER every other day. -- Naomi is going to blame herself for Bill's health problems? GMAB. -- Ashley doesn't read as a real nurse in the slightest. -- Another day, another rinse and repeat conversation with Derek and Ashley. YAWN. -- Kat is making mistakes, but she's fun to watch and listen to, regardless. -- I still think the Joey/Vanessa/Doug gambling story sucks. I know Doug is deeply in debt, but I don't like him acting this meek and submissive.  -- I'm not sure what Joey's plan was from the beginning, or why he had to seduce Vanessa at all to get his way. I'm not sure what Vanessa ever saw in Joey -- why doesn't he give her the ick? -- I'm fine with a story where Doug and Vanessa take out Joey.  -- The fades to commercials were pretty bad today.
    •   Victoria's house (that she long ago lived in with Billy) burned down (I think Aunt Jordan set ablaze?). Mariah and Tessa and baby Aria had been living in the tack house but they bought a house we've never seen and moved there. Victoria, Claire, and Cole now live in the tack house.
    • Victoria’s previous house burned down.    And I know why characters frequent Crimson Lights 3 times a day for brownies, muffins and empty mugs:   THERE’S PCP IN EVERYTHING.
    • Today was a good episode, and the week for that matter. I think they've also done a better job with background music. The scenes in todays episode weren't as silent as they usually are in the background and it was noticeable. I think the show has found its groove well and I'm still invested.
    • Garneau was in the Liberal party and his riding was in Montreal. He was the first Canadian in outer space.
    • I agree. I really have enjoyed this story from the beginning. I feel like it needed the time for us to care about Doug. They've done a nice job of explaining his motives and making me care for him. I still feel like he's doomed and Vanessa will end up being a widow and now I'm invested in that *not* happening now that I've fallen for him. Friday was good but so was the entire week. I think they're doing such a nice job of keeping things moving. We got good movement with Bill's story this week, Chelsea is attempting to date, Andre and Dani are having tough conversations about their relationship, of course Anita reunited with Sharon. There is *so* much going on and I didn't even cover all of it.  I wish all of the soaps would take a page out of BTG book and start rotating their stories. I love that everybody is getting a chance to shine and they don't just sit on one lead story to the point you get sick of it.
    • Did Jordan Clarke have a departure sometime between 1985 and 1989? I know Robert Newman had three runs: 1981-1984, 1986-1991, 1993-end.
    • Well, they usually weren't on the show at the time for long until the late 90's. But yeah, they really deserved a story centered on them, and not through the lens of Reva.
    • Chelsea was doing the absolute most today! Why was she introducing her sister to a woman she doesnt know? That whole scene was embarrassing. Madison needs to stay away from her bc she is too immature
    • Gosh, what a waste with Lunacy. Why have her live with $B, reveal Finn, pardon her, etc What makes this story incredibly hollow is that what Luna is asking isn't unreasonable - to spend time with her cousin father. She's not asking to move in with them. How hard with it be for Finn to throw her a bone by, say, I'll meet you for lunch/coffee once at week at the hospital cafeteria. Lunacy isn't going to hurt Finn. In fact, all her crimes were related to finding her father and it turns out to be someone she's loved her entire life. Instead of course-correcting the nonsense of last summer, Brad somehow found a way to make this worse! That's a skill... Of all the younger actors B&B has cast during the past 5 years, LY has shown the most growth and range. Why get rid of her?
