May 10, 201114 yr Member I'm sure it'll just be some shocker closing scene and they'll wait a week before we see her again. Either way, they clearly moved her up appearances up like they did with Howarth. Edited May 10, 201114 yr by alexisfan07
May 10, 201114 yr Member http://www.soapopera...e-one-more-time This is from the SON report Very interesting. I never really thought Dixie might be coming back in the flesh until I read this. Maybe this really is LB then and we'll get brief glimpses of Dixie edited into K&S episodes for several weeks before her material kicks in.
May 10, 201114 yr Member Wasn't her 2005 return kept under close wraps for an unusually long time? yeah I rememebr that one being a true surprise
May 11, 201114 yr Member Wasn't her 2005 return kept under close wraps for an unusually long time? Yeah, the news broke only about a week or two before she appeared over the Christmas episodes, and then we didn't see her again until the Mardis Gras ball in February. I am excited about this. It will be nice if she is indeed coming back alive and that one of the biggest jump the shark moments on this show is reversed. It will be contrived I am sure, but I can deal with that. Killing Dixie killed a big part of my affection for AMC. It was never the same for me after that moment. Tad and Dixie with Kate is one of many perfect endings for these cherished characters. May 11, 201114 yr Member Bc of the rushed time between her tape date and air date, Im guessing she will be in scenes by hserself for a while. I think like that they can splice in her scenes into the upcoming stuff and she wont interact with the rest of the cast for several weeks
May 11, 201114 yr Member THAT SOON? They sure are moving fast. Her scenes will undoubtedly be the work of LB, since there's no way K&S could have been involved in this. She got to be alive this time. Please AMC, please.
May 11, 201114 yr Member This is really shocking. I'm intrigued. Although as a viewer, I'm tired of being jerked around. Dead. Alive. Dead. Alive. Too many back from the deads. How can they bring both Zach and Dixie back from the dead? Too much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only one per year!
May 11, 201114 yr Member I'll say this for both AMC and OLTL; when it came to these two very key returns - Cady McClain and Roger Howarth - they worked fast and they got it done right, knowing that with the cancellation notices time would be of the essence to get these people on the air as soon as possible. I didn't think AMC could possibly tell a Dixie resurrection story in the time it has left, but she's on next week - running her from now to September is a reasonable enough timeframe. Well done. And yes, I will be watching. Edited May 11, 201114 yr by Vee
May 11, 201114 yr Member Wow, that was quick! I'ma be real mad if these last few months are straight A game soap greatness! But seriously, I'll be kinda mad.
May 11, 201114 yr Member More than likely, Dixie was saved by an antidote to the poison that was administered (when no one was looking) along with a drug that made it appear as if Dixie was dead. Now, do y'all see why AMC had to go?
