April 14, 201114 yr Member I hope when OLTL goes off the air they use this theme for the final episode http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuLK1cKZ_a4&feature=related

April 14, 201114 yr Member I might as well stop AMC now then. No need to waste any more time I guess Oh come on. Enjoy the rest of the ride.
April 14, 201114 yr Member LB better at least bring back DC and JB for the end and TK so Zendall can get their real happy ending. I bet Tad ends up with Cara, instead of them being smart enough to get Cady back
April 14, 201114 yr Member I think if soaps ever have a revival, it has to be tailored to the attention span of the audience. Traditional soap audiences are all but gone, there just aren't many people that are at home in the afternoon anymore and besides that, the soaps are too slow paced. If soaps ever come back they need to be a half-hour, air just before primetime and have straightforward stories that make sense. I think there is a way to write a story that unfolds for years yet can still be fast-paced. OLTL has told short stories in the last few years that seem to go on forever because they are such a mess and made up as they go along (I can't say with AMC because I haven't watched regularly in recent years).
April 14, 201114 yr Member Frons is such an !@#$%^&*], hes the worst kind of scum on the planet as he killed ABC soaps. What he did was he took away the visionary like the Wendy Riche or Linda Gottlieb away from ABC and got figureheads to do his dirty work. Honestly cancelling both is just like him to do. AMC being cancelled doesn't affect me the way OLTL getting cancelled. OLTL is one of my all time favorite soaps. I used to watch for years and years and it saddens me that it will no longer be here. Its so weird AMC will go before OLTL which means OLTL lived longer. OLTL I am so happy it made it to the final soaps on air. Today is truly the end of a genre and era. Its OVER. Llanview will go off into the sunset forever and I am so tearing up to watch the finale. These soaps will forever live in SOAP legacy. The new soaps on the air are BRAVO'S The Housewives. These are the new soaps on air, we have Real Housewives of BH, NY, NJ and look at Jersey Shore the show has big numbers. Its a reality TV land.
April 14, 201114 yr Member I would love to know what the other thought of the news, like Corday and Co., the Bells? I guess its a new war, Frons, Vs, Corday, vs Bell. Well Coday and Bell are both owned by sony so Frons vs Sony
April 14, 201114 yr Member Well there goes the Roger Howarth story on OLTL. You cant really telll that story in what 3 months? OLTL tapes it last episode in Nov is what I read, that's nearly 6 months, enough to make RH real Todd and for TSJ's Todd to be the fake
April 14, 201114 yr Member I trust Frank Valentini and Ron Carlivati will give OLTL fans a farewell to remember

To me, AMC is very slow OLTL much faster. In fact OLTL moves the fastest of all the shows. But I don't wacth GH I don't know.
April 14, 201114 yr Member I trust Frank Valentini and Ron Carlivati will give OLTL fans a farewell to remember I agree. I really do. But I just hope they don't decide to move these stories even faster which I'm afraid they will to fit everything in. I can't wait to see what RC and FV come up with. I am not sorry I started watching this show lat year and only mad at myself for not getting into it sooner
April 14, 201114 yr Member As much as I loved KISH, there are far more important people to bring back before OLTL goes. I agree, and there are some folks on the canvas now that I would fade out early to make room.
April 14, 201114 yr Member Wondering if LoBRo brings MCE to give Annie/JR thier happy ending. Or JR ends all alone. TBQH I think we'll see w/ AMC ending, Lucci's final storyline most likely will be the character's curtain call. That would signal the end of AMC. Erica Kane dies peacefully.
