Members NYC123
But as a whole Daytime is just down. Everything is down. Honestly maybe we are blowing this out of proportion? Maybe ABC wants publicity to get some ratings? LOLS
Members Soapsuds
Well when GL got the notice of cancellation the ratings went down quickly....In the case of ATWT they didnt but actually went up. Members LoyaltoAMC
AMC must deliver a huge chunk of OLTL's audience. With AMC out of the equation, what would that mean for OLTL's, and consequently, GH's numbers? Not to mention with GH losing Oprah on many of its O&O stations. Members Juliajms
That could be, but is it worse to lose your lead in or to have a gap in the soap line up? I honestly don't know and don't really want to find out. I just wonder what the conventional wisdom on that is. It might give us a peek into what TPTB are thinking. Members Clear Drama
Bobbie has some damn nerves. There are already rumors about her jumping ship to B&B in the summer. Finn you were fired WTF should you care, Cornelius really? you can wind up some place better.
Members Llantano Incorporated
OLTL is my show, and I love your optimism, but OLTL cannot hold a ratings gain to save its life. Its one life. lol!
Members marceline
Oh Lawd, here we go... next comes the inevitable Friday Night Lights and Chuck pep talks. Then the "big" mail in campaign that will draw the attention of no one except possibly the Department of Homeland Security and finally a rally or two that will draw 20-30 people. The bargaining phase is the worst.
Members dragonflies
Finn wasn't fired, he only signed for a year and chose to leave when that was up Cara's a great addition, but Griffin? He's not even a fleshed out character, yet Cara is, that goes back to the acting(I should say lack of acting skill on JV's part)
Members Ann_SS
LOL! It is pretty sad. Goes to show that the actors can see the cancellation train barreling towards them.
Members Khan
Exactly. I could see Susan Lucci hosting some show on OWN where she gives "average" housewives "celebrity makeovers."
