July 7, 2025Jul 7 Author Member Thanks for the clip. You'd almost think they were setting up a relationship but both have naturally flirty voices (when Nikki isn't being bitchy). I wonder if that was the interim writers from the strike starting to seep through as that type of interaction feels very alien from where Bell was taking Y&R by that point.

July 8, 2025Jul 8 Member Nothing says “Happy 4th of July” like a long-lost soap son crashing the barbecue and exposing everyone's secrets. Seriously though - we watched him die in that hospital room. Bringing him back in 2009 was ridiculous… even by soap standards. https://youtu.be/7GRPD118JCQ?si=uORVLJGCnISVmhhy&t=487

Don’t know if we saw this onscreen but it’s assumed that she recruited him to perform. The 1988 date you’re referring to is 4/5/88. The writers apparently forgot that they met before, and Nikki and Danny act like it’s the first time. Good question about Victor and Danny, don’t know if they ever interacted. Phyllis told Victor on 02/25/04 that she was married Danny. This would seem to confirm they've never met or interacted before. 1 phyllis tells victor danny 2004 (online-video-cutter.com).mp4
July 14, 2025Jul 14 Member Wait, did Victor ever actually interact with Danny, Lauren, or even Tracy?

Victor interacted with Traci on rare occasions. I recently watched a spring '91 scene with Victor, Brad and Traci. Danny is the one where we don't know if he and Victor ever directly interacted.

Honestly the only time I’ve Victor and Danny really talk to each other besides group events was Phyllis fake funeral from 2 years ago…

Been trying to find it but it isn't available anywhere. I don't know if anyone on here might have saved it. 5 hours ago, yrfan1983 said: Victor interacted a lot with Lauren in the late 80s. That's interesting. Would you know the air date on the 91' scene with Victor, Brad and Traci? Do you know the air date on the first time Lauren & Victor meet? Edited July 15, 2025Jul 15 by fivethej

The dialogue doesn't make it sound like the first time they met... they mention catching each other's eye (but not speaking) at the Dec '87 Candy Cane Ball. And then of course Lauren was at the '84 Niktor wedding. So... still unclear if Victor and Lauren met and exchanged dialogue prior to 3/28/88
July 16, 2025Jul 16 Member I remember a Victor/Traci scene where Victor told Traci he considers her the heart of the Abbott family. I think that was sometime in the last 5 years or so.

I’m wondering if Victor paid his respects to Lauren fall ‘87 after Neil passed and she took over at Fenmore’s

July 17, 2025Jul 17 Member I’m rewatching the ‘91 Masquerade Ball and realizing it’s the 10th anniversary of the ‘81 London Gala, and there’s many similarities. As each guest arrives, they are announced by the maitre d I’m eating up the small moments, like Douglas meeting Madame Chauvin… knowing that Michael Evans was on the show ‘80-82 when Melinda Cordell played quite an opposite character, Dorothy Stevens 😂 Who ever told Jeanne Cooper she has a good singing voice 👀 Wow is KSJ easy on the eyes as Dionysus 😍
