He is playing a lab tech. Since GH lost any idea of what to do with Spinelli a long time ago he'd be better off taking it. And it's a network I generally don't watch so that's another plus. But when you put him with any of the Spencermaines, Jones/Scorpios or Davis family (especially the women if each) he shines. Spin is just one more example of how SaSon sucks the vitality out of every character in their world. Given enough time I'm sure they would even do it to Diane. I always thought keeping him on and developing him into a long term character was a mistake.
