Apparently Bradford is doing a pilot with "comedian" and "actor" DL Hughely, and someone else, for TNT. He is playing a lab tech. Since GH lost any idea of what to do with Spinelli a long time ago he'd be better off taking it. And it's a network I generally don't watch so that's another plus.

Others have said far worse about characters they don't like.

You wouldn't want to deal with my 12 year old though, she named her stuffed owl Spinelli.

I meant DL, but I don't like Spinelli very much either, so it's still valid.

I will probably not be watching the TNT show, but I hope it does extremely well if it means no more Spinelli.

Unless they decide to make Diane Spin's mother, I just have no use for the character.

I can't imagine getting that lucky. BA would be back after it failed anyway. Hugley might be the only person who could make him semi-talented.

Poor Spin is stuck with the Mobbies and I agree he's a totally useless character in that context. But when you put him with any of the Spencermaines, Jones/Scorpios or Davis family (especially the women if each) he shines. Spin is just one more example of how SaSon sucks the vitality out of every character in their world. Given enough time I'm sure they would even do it to Diane.

I don't care who you put Spinelli in scenes with, he's one of the most obnoxiously annoying characters to grace Daytime..The nerd dialogue is old and tired and this character needs to die in the next mob shoot out.

Spinelli was a one hit pony. He never should have stayed after his intro story. I always thought keeping him on and developing him into a long term character was a mistake. Not all characters created are meant to be that and he most definetly was not

Unfortunately, Spinelli never even gets shot when the gun is pointed directly at him. The little toad will never die.

Wow this 1996 episode completely highlights how much Steve and Maurice don't try at ALL anymore, while Ingo has gotten loads better. He was super green in those scenes with Lucy. Is this one of Jax's first appearances?
