Paula isn't needed, she didn't contribute a whole lot when she was on....Totally agree about Nicolle.  I think the six person panel was a last minute decision after realizing just how youth targeted their cast was. I know they are pulling for the younger demos, but I think someone (wisely) realized that they needed someone familiar and more seasoned on the panel.

I also think they figured Nicolle would stick around for the occassional appearance...which I don't blame her for rejecting!

Yesss ... welcome back Joy! I'm glad they backed up the Brinks truck and unloaded the cash for her. I'm surprised they'll have six co-hosts at the table, but Paula and Candice will be MIA at times, Paula won't be working Friday's.

I don't think Paula was needed. I wish they hadn't fired Nicolle. Ugh. I'd rather have her.

LOL at all the contributors. Ana is an interesting choice. I like Stacy. Padma and Molly are meh, kinda boring and basically fill-ins. And what the hell is Sherri going to contribute? At least she can generate buzz for the show, I guess. Basically they're keeping a bunch of women around to be the fill-ins. The show needs consistency so it's not a terrible group ...

So is she back full time or will she be like Barbara and only be there a few days a week and for special episodes? If I were Joy Id have arranged to have a deal like that bc it is a bit of a step backwards to come back. She should get the Barbara treatment

    • I do not think I have ever agreed with Vee. Normally I do not read him, Ignore ya know. For some unknown reason I clicked to read. And I agree 1000%. Now, this is so odd that I need to go away for a bit.
    • Justine had a lot of hooey in it, but she was an actual woman, not a guy in drag. She was a doppelganger of Rachel, French, having had a past history with Carl, etc. Two of the more outrageous parts-Justine bricking alive Vicky into a wall & Justine grinding the gears driving a big rig.
    • Hehe, twi/x actually x, formerly Twitter. Typically I find 2 sources for "crazy fan rumors" - the wrong parts of FB and x. Oy.
    • Not to hijack the thread, but was that character Justine? I just found this interview online with Logan and see what you're talking about - wow!   http://www.anotherworldhomepage.com/chat85.html
    • My bad….ill fix that  Fixed
    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.
