Peter Galman looks fantastic. Isn't he the "hippie Tom" who's on the 1971 TV Guide cover? Lord, if he locates some of that footage and shares it with us, I'll be forever indebted. ESPECIALLY if it's in the original color.

Here is a list of various Tom Hughes over the years, their birthdate and their age when they first played Tom, Tom was born in 1961

Frankie Michaels 1955  age 10 in 1965

Richard Thomas 1951 age 15 in 1966

Paul O'Keefe 1951 aged age 16 in 1967

Peter Link 1944 age 25 in 1969

Peter Galman 1945 age 24 in 1969

C David Colson 1941 age 28 in 1974

Tom Tammi 1945 age 24 in 1979

Justin Deas 1948 age 32 in 1980

Jason Kincaid 1952 age 32 in 1984

Gregg Marx 1955 age 29 in 1984

Scott Holmes 1952 age 35 in 1987

So Tom had a big  jump in age in 1969 but then slowed down throughout the 70s.

Galman was really sexy, I must say.

Wasn’t there something like 13 Toms? I know we have more than enough of Tom Tammi, Deas, Marx, and Holmes. Is it Frankie Michaels in the 1966 episode? I’m sure there is some Jason Kincaid out there, too, right?

Here's some of Jason Kincaid as Tom.

Jason Kincaid was an awful Tom. I have no idea whose idea it was to cast him in the role. Shudders at him as Tom.

Peter Galman does a lot of stage work. Here is a pic of a play he was in. The second is him as Tom in 1970.

How long did Peter Galman play Tom? He sure still looks good for his age.

This might sound something that Ron Carlivati would do, but I always thought it would've been neat if, for one episode, they had all the Toms (yes, including Jason Kincaid, lol) appear in one episode.  They wouldn't have had to all play Tom, since that would have been TOO confusing.  However, I would've given some of the actors maybe cameos or walk-ons.

The casting of Jason Kinkaid was just baffling. I know some posters found Holmes to be stiff or unlikable, but Kinkaid was the single worst Tom ever. He equalled Susan Batten as Connor for sheer awfulness.

I actually didn't find Holmes to be stiff, but more serious than what the previous actors playing Tom were.  Although Holmes was one that got better looking as he aged, imho.
