So Sonny admits to Dante he hasn't pined away for Brenda all these years, then what's all the stupidity about? Must be Guza who was pining away

LMAO at Spinelli running away from Snarzilla. I wonder what kind of ridiculous stupidity she's going to spout to Brenda over the phone. 100% chance of her making a fool of herself

Maxie and Patrick are so stupid. Talking about playing Lisa in public where she of course hears them.

Another black girl in the hospital? I thought that was Maya at first

I was appalled by Carly's behavior with Sam. WTF- did she not realize Sam was on crutches and needed rest. Michael comes over and Carly asks Sam to go outside, seriously?? And on crutches, where is she supposed to go?? Carly should have got her arse up and took Michael outside the door with her! That is not her home. What a little insensitive biotch. I can't believe Sam didn't tell her to go somewhere else with Michael.

Why is Sam so passive with Carly? She sure wasn't passive with Elizabeth when they were fighting over Jason.

Fine, the pet thing I have no problem seeing or understanding.

My problem is why waste the amazing connections she has on the side of the law to prop up the tired ass of Sonny Corrinthos? I'm just hoping that we'll find out all of this is still an act and she's dug in like a tick to get the goods on that fool.

RE: Claire

I totally/wholeheartedly agree, but just saying she is on the short list of favs...so I am not surprised they are sticking w/a lead (Jason is not available)

its still (to me) a Reese, Alexis (storyline) Foolish re-mix. Not unusal for women to go through Sonny...

Claire dialoged her reasons; Sonny dialoged his and I too think they are somewhat playing each other. She took herself professionally out of his picture so if this is still the case why is she doing this now? (I may have missed something haven't watched w/full a full attention span).

What I don't understand either is Claire's involvment in the first place...I'm seeing Brenda's disengagment from Sinclair because of unresolved feelings of days gone by (drilling Jason re: Sonny e.g is he seeing anyone, etc etc)

while super stud laments to Dante then quickerthanthis kissing up/wooing Claire. I thought the writing would just go a simplier route (w/out the formula Guza angst)and just BAM! Surprise me, go for a straight up-hook up (the same ole' thing IMO) push/pull, cat/mouse...oh I like this type too ...

all I am saying shake it up. Every couple doesn't have to start the 'same way' sometimes people meet and want to be together with no push/pull...angst can come down the pike...esp since S/B have a long history why not just do something different (they've had angst right)? He'll probably kick Claire to the curb when Brenda shows up so why do this? It doesn't make sense storywise...

I'm just waiting for Brenda/Robin scenes I guess and still wonder why they didn't promo/market their friendship along w/the Brenda and her men theme...

The thing I'm still stuck on is if they were going to sacrifice Claire to Sonny then just do it and let the audience make all the same connections to Reese, Hannah, etc. We'd then just roll our eyes and see her as nothing more than the latest flavour of the month.

BUT they were dropping anvils like it was harvest season in an apple orchard. One after another recounted how Sonny used women, how Claire was supposed to watch out and not become another statistic, etc. I'm holding out hope that this will ultimately all turn out to be the biggest undercover bust possible because even the audience only suspected it and didn't see it play out like Dante's story did. I know Guza isn't above that kind of subterfuge, and it will all boil down to how badly he wants the character of Claire to succeed. I just really want this time to be different - for Claire to be different.

Sam viewed Liz as a potential and very real threat. Even Sam can see this troll is hardly a threat, so she just lets her rant and rave... like a mother does when her 2 year old is throwing her 9th tantrum that day.

exactly. Theres no point in engaging in Carly bc it would be like fighting a brick wall. Look at Jason and Michael who talk to her resonably and she still flies off the handle crazy with the same silly nonsense. Sam getting just as loud as she will only make her 10 times worse and really, who wants to deal with Carly? It was probably best for her to save the stress and just leave the room.

LMAO!

The fact that I am floating the possibility of TWO entertaining things occurring in Port Charles simultaneously is probably raising your eyebrows and making you concerned about my mental state, and I'm totally with you, because I even I feel like "What is this? Am I taking crazy pills?!", but it's TRUE. There are TWO entertaining things happening on this show! And sure, for most shows, that's just considered unremarkable and the way it's supposed to be, but on General Hospital, it's a shocking triumph!

What Brenda's return to GH has lacked in...well, pretty much everything, it more than makes up for in terms of hilarity and, specifically, the hilarity of watching Carly's head continue to EXPLODEin SLOW MOTION as she comes to terms with the fact that she's not going to have Jax and Sonny wrapped around her little finger anymore.

She pitched a bitch when she heard that Brenda is going to be on the cover of Crimson.

Jax: Carly, listen to me. I love you. I'm committed to you. Do I have feelings for Brenda? Yes, absolutely. The same feelings you have for Sonny. But I'm not running after her.

Carly: But you put her on the cover! It's the SAME THING!

She sounds like a middle school girl who was totally upset that her boyfriend didn't have her as one of his Top Friends on MySpace.

Carly: It's the same old contest. Brenda shows up and you and Sonny are going to fight over her like she's some school girl, like she's the prom queen. And Brenda loves it.

"I, on the other hand, HATE being the center of attention. Yet another reason why Carly rules and Brenda drools!"

Jax: I can't believe we're arguing about this. This is ridiculous.

The fact that all of their arguments are so ridiculous and yet he remains committed to her does not say much for Jasper's intelligence, does it?

Carly: Well, you don't have to wait for the magazine to hit the stands because you can go to Rome right now and see her.

She didn't say it, but there was definitely a "But if you do, I'll cut your balls off" implied at the end of that sentence.

Jax: For the record, my ideal woman is you.

Carly: STOP. Because...[sonny-like pause] actions are way louder than words and right now, your actions are telling me that you're all about Brenda.

She's all rant-y and turning to hard liquor, and she doesn't even know yet that JASON is going to Rome for Brenda (because for some reason, Adrienne Barbeau turned to a hitman to protect her client. No, I don't know what Adrienne Barbeau was thinking). I'm thinking we're in for a suicide attempt at the very least because as she told Coleman? She's not sharing.

Carly: Brenda keeps showing up like a bad penny. Robin sees her in Africa, comes back, tells Sonny, next thing I know, he flees the country and heads to Rome to see her. Days later, Jax is putting her on magazine covers.

Coleman: Well, I mean, I've never had the pleasure, but I have seen Miss Barrett in magazine ads and she's a good looking woman, Carly.

Carly: Thanks.

Coleman: wasn't she married to Jason a few years back?

Carly: Yes. YES.

Coleman: Another shot?

Carly: YES! You know what? When I first came to town, Brenda was the tortured princess and I was dirt. And now...well, I've married Sonny AND Jax and had children with both when Brenda couldn't even get either of them past the altar. And poor Jason. Well, Jason was forced to marry Brenda because of her selfish purposes. But guess who Sonny, Jax and Jason belong to in different ways? Me. And I will not be sharing.

I swear, she said all of these things. I did not paraphrase one bit this time. The subtext has become text and the text says, "Bitch crazy".

This is amazing and Laura Wright has been playing it hilariously. I actually can't wait--wow, that was so weird for me to type--to see what happens when Brenda finally winds up back in Port Charles. Will Carly try her best to start a catfight or will her mind have completely disintegrated by that point, leaving her capable of only unintelligible shrieking?

Oh, perish the thought! Carly would've been sneering and ghetto head rolling that big wild mane of hers until her head fell off... and even then, she'd still be shrieking. Like what happens when a chicken gets its head cut off -- except in reverse.

Carly reminds me of a lobster. You know when you boil them? And for a couple minutes they make that horrible squeeling sound until it just fades away? But the whole time you're waiting for it to just END? Yeah that's what I hear when she talks.

They only squeal if you put them in ass first. If you put them in head first they are under the mistaken impression that it's a nice warm bath and the heat instantly kills them....

Incidentally, where's Sam's hot tub?
