With almost an equal number of partners, kids, and scandals between them, ever wonder what Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) would have to say to each other? Well, ABC will give you a chance to find out with a series of 10 webisodes showing well-known characters from All My Children, One Life to Live, and General Hospital interacting with one another. They’ll be taped this month but will air on abc.com and soapnet.com (and in shorter form on ABC and SOAPnet) beginning in July.

“We are always looking for ways to drive deeper viewer engagement with our fans,” said Adam Rockmore, SVP Marketing ABC Daytime and SOAPnet. “These webisodes are a fun way to answer a long-standing fan question about what would happen in a soap-mash-up.”

One Life to Live‘s executive producer, Frank Valentini, will direct the 4-minute long scripted webisodes. The pairings will be:

All My Children‘s Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) and General Hospital‘s Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)

GH‘s Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and OLTL‘s Viki Banks (Erika Slezak)

AMC‘s Ryan Lavery (Cameron Mathison) and GH‘s Carly Jacks (Laura Wright)

AMC‘s Greenlee Smythe (Rebecca Budig) and GH‘s Jason Morgan (Steve Burton)

OLTL‘s John McBain (Michael Easton) and GH‘s Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco)

OLTL‘s Todd Manning (Trevor St. John) and GH‘s Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson)

AMC’s Angie and Jesse Hubbard (Debbi Morgan and Darnell Williams) and OLTL’s Starr Manning (Kristen Alderson)

OLTL‘s Blair Cramer (Kassie DePaiva) and AMC‘s Tad Martin (Michael E. Knight)

OLTL‘s Tess (Bree Williamson) and GH‘s Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna)

GH‘s Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and OLTL‘s Rex Balsom (John- Paul Lavoisier)

--------------------*****-----------------------

These webisodes sound like fantasy scenarios rather than genuine cross overs like AMC/OLTL's baby switch, or OLTL/AMC/GH/PC's Rae storyline.

That is so much WTFery that I'm actually offended. Two iconic, legendary characters - not just one but TWO - forced to spend their time and credibility propping one of the most pathetic, destroyed, poorly written characters in daytime. I hate you Frons. I just hate you.

    • Yes, I like him too. He is a good actor, and I agree with your comments about his personality. I also want to add, I think that he comes across as realistic and IMO sane. Yeah, he's done some bad things, but he seems pretty in control for the most part and not the least bit crazy. I appreciate that type of behavior in someone who can behave like a villain. And I continue to buy that he really does love his daughters. Unlike Leslie who seems to only use and mistreat Eva, I have seen Bill soften when it comes to his daughters. And I do believe he would do what he felt he had to do to protect them. His love for his children, helps make him more layered as a character. I really enjoyed his scenes with Dani today. I enjoyed the show today. I thought that the scenes with Nicole being comforted by both her parents including them switching out to comfort her were sweet and cute. I particularly enjoyed her scenes with Vernon. I love her relationship with her parents. I also liked Tomas/Eva scenes. He genuinely seems to care about her, and I am interested in seeing how things will play out between them and him and Kat.
    • Dani really got on my nerves. Her own life is a total disaster, yet she interferes with everyone else's. What could she possibly say to Ted that will change anything? That will help anyone? And as you said, while she bashes Bill, she wants him back -- all the while knowing who he is and who he's been for years. None of these scenes are pushing me to appreciate Dani. -- OTOH, Bill got some very good shots in at Dani. He won that face-off. -- June is just a ball of cliches and stereotypes to this point. I hope this goes somewhere. -- Martin flies off the handle much too easily, but I did appreciate that he grew calm and subdued, and even sad, with Ted. -- I'm glad Tomas is pretty, because damn, that acting. -- I'm glad Derek looks so good in tight jeans, because damn, that acting. -- LMAO at Leslie gaining entrance to Nicole's house because Nicole wanted the front door ajar so Door Dash could leave her takeout.

    • No, we would really do it.  Those pix were so famous! In early May 1970 Susan introduced Doug Williams to Julie. Her intent was evil. But, it backfired on her. Doug & Julie fell in love. Everyone knows the rest of this story.
    • Doesn't matter if its off topic. No need to point it out. Things will get back on topic soon enough. They always do . . . And I do love the off topic photos from the Bill Bell era!  So thanks.

Thank you. I didn't realize there was confusion. You cleared it up.  It is more than crazy that this whole conversation is off-topic.
    • Sure!  And we promise, Mr Corday -- we will ridicule those wonderful old episodes daily on social media.   NOT!
    • "To give her child a name" just means to make the child legitimate and be able to take the father's surname.
    • I would say, Denise was the ONLY good thing about that insultingly ridiculous plot.  But all this took place near the end of Another World's "let's play everything for laughs" era.  Thank God that nonsense ended around 1988.
    • We could take an OATH: We swear we will hate these episodes!
