I can't stand Phaedra, but let's be real: she is one of the best at reunions. She's intimidated by Nene, yes, but there's no way Kenya or Cynthia can touch her. I'm not as familiar with Claudia, but she has her work cut out for her. The only way I see Phaedra going down is when all of the skeletons fall out of the closet, and in that event, I'd expect her to pull an Adrienne Maloof.

That E! article confirmed the Secrets Revealed airs before the 3 part reunion. Now that I think about it, it's obvious they want the Jersey episodes to boost their November sweeps ratings. I know they're probably hurting by not having Shah's of Sunset when they anticipated airing it.

Video that clarifies some of the Amsterdam pictures of Brandi, Lisa, Yolanda and Kim. Lisa V and Yolanda are lecturing Brandi about something that went down between her and some other RHOBH. I'm going to assume Lisa R.

Lisa: Why did you have to say that?

Brandi: We were joking around

Lisa: I know that but it hurt

Brandi: I didn't say it to be mean

Yolanda: But she was crying

Brandi: I ran after her. I told you this a hundred times. I don't know what else I can do.

Lisa (very sternly): You can stop doing things like that.

Yolanda (softly): Think before you speak

Lisa proceeds to bitch to Yolanda about the situation (I think she uses the F bomb). Meanwhile, Kim jokes around with Brandi about Brandi being big and bad.

Eileen Davidson is also spotted in the video.

Having her on would be kind of redundant when they have Claudia who is similar to Marlo. Single, no kids, spitfire, no filter, adversary to NeNe.... there's really no purpose for Marlo this year and I have already accepted the fact she'll never hold a peach. After 4 years she should have gotten one by now if she or Bravo wanted her to.

3 parts? Ugh hopefully The Twins don't get to speak much. Can't wait for Dina to call Melissa out on why she's on the show.

Wow! Exciting that they're finally being smart and PROMOTING things like this! Real Housewives of Melbourne had worldwide recognition even before the season was filmed because they released info on the cast, pictures, etc. which is a good way to build buzz. With the way these series are going (especially with new cast members), they need to start releasing this info and promoting certain things during filming to help build buzz and anticipation.

    • Thanks. I'm glad we have some fan memories of these years as this is such a typically snide take on the genre. It's also poorly written and reminds me a great deal of the tedious "snark" recaps that became popular in the '90s. The end in particular. The 1979/80 stuff I have seen is much more polished than a number of soaps at the time. It was very easy to watch and not too bogged down in past story.  Margo is played by Ann Williams, who was on what seemed like every soap. I think she said Margo was her favorite role.
    • And the rating 'wars' continue...hehe.
    • Well, it was fun while it lasted for Rebecca Herbst. Le sigh.
    • I am wholeheartedly enjoying this show. I just haven't been able to post as much as I used to. But yes, this episode needs to be submitted for the EMMYs and there needs to be wins. I better NOT see Y&R, DAYS, or B&B winning in categories over BTG. I feel like the only show that is giving BTG an ounce of competition this season is GH.
    • I never thought the day would come, but too much MM for me.
    • I think it may be that the character was brought in for a specific purpose and then became popular with viewers, and the show didn't know how to respond.  The choice to pivot away from Simon/India may show that you are right and they didn't care for her...although pairing them up may be another sign they didn't care for her. I don't connect well with this period but it does make me happy seeing some of these characters before the great purge and some of the surprises - I'd forgotten the wonderful Maureen O'Sullivan popped up to be bumped off. So typical of soaps by this point, but it doesn't grate as much as later on when Y&R would bring on any random cast member from Small Wonder. I'm also amazed at this time at just how much money the show must have had. The costumes for the Founder's celebration in summer 1984, or whatever it was, looked gorgeous.
    • Which officially started to feel that way today with them hearing each other out as they confronted each other at the same time.    Same. He was even catching himself when he was about to go overboard or do those tics that people don't seem to like. He failed a bit at the end, but he carried. It makes me think about a month back when it was discussed that the actor was better in other things he's been in. And I questioned then if that meant that he was playing Martin more intentionally. I questioned that briefly again today because he was giving.
    • I really like the actress who plays Margo. Don't know  her name. I'm so hesitant to google anyone because I don't want to know the length they were on the show. I've watched two episodes and I have to say that the show does not feel as dated as other shows. I tried to watch Ryan's Hope a few weeks back and some of the acting was a bit rough. EON is a lot more natural which amuses me considering it's a mystery/thriller show.
    • She’s INCREDIBLE. I’m so glad you enjoyed this my friend.
