I don't get how Emily got the blonde hair either.

That's some mental institution they've got there.

It's all 2 for 1. Go in crazy, come out with different colored hair. Or something like that.

I'm just surprised Rauch has managed to avoid having any "comedy" residents of the asylum, as he did on his other shows.

Isn't Y&R itself these days unintentional comedy enough?

It's a bad tragicomedy.

That might explain the ratings not going down more.

Most of all the show just makes me sad these days.

Patty used a bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide. Which, first of all, how the hell did they allow her to have a bottle of that in a PADDED CELL?! Also, does that even dye someone's hair that blonde, that fast?

Also, I've used peroxide for cuts and the like and the stuff has a very distinctive smell. If Emily denied being Patty, wouldn't they be able to tell by the smell of her hair?

It's like they aren't even trying to be consistent anymore. But it's not surprising. I can't wait till the viewers get fed up and stop watching this nonsense they're being fed. Even old folks have their limit.

Ugh. Why does Phyllis have to be the one to unmask Adam while those who were truly hard-done by him (Ashley, Sharon, Estella for crying out loud) sit around on their asses and wait for Big Red to take charge and save the day? Surely Ashley can take him on! Especially with Neil, Abby and Jack believing in her.

The women have very specific roles on this show. Ashley is there to be traumatized/passive. Sharon is there to act confused and sleep with a lot of men. Phyllis is there to be aggressive. And as with all women who don't remember their place in misogynstic storytelling, Phyllis will be punished for her aggressiveness when Nick starts crawling into Sharon's bed again to "comfort" her. The only question is whether they will bother to have Sharon go steal a Yanni CD from the dollar store.

From what I read it should only make people's hair a little lighter. Hopefully MM will twitter something to make this switch make sense.

They missed a golden comedy opportunity by not having Patty or Emily's hair react by turning green or bright orange. If it was Emily's it could have been included as a reason in the suicide note.

It depends on the strength of the solution.

I don't either, or how she even got a hold of hair dye.
