Sara Bible thought that GH was anti elitism. 4 people on this show with an Ivy League education are written as incompetent at their jobs or not as good as people with a degree from Candyland U or self made.

Don't forget murdered, dismembered & left to decompose under horse manure too.

That's to make him look like a bigger idiot when he fails.

Pretty much.

An international corporate businessman & part time Navy Seal on the run from art fencing NAZI'S.

Thank GOD LML is gone.

LMAO! It sounds so amazingly Passions-ish when you write it all out like that. You forgot "closeted Jew" and "unprosecuted killer". Quite a trajectory for a hedgetrimmer who spent months in a cage.

Sharon grieved her miscarriage for like one episode, and then was all smiles just two days after she "lost" Faith.

Okay, I'll give up. My take on it: Sharon's reaction to Faith is a form of unprocessed grief...much (IMO) like Nick's long-dark journey since losing Cassie.

Since you'll rip me to shreds about this again, let's just admit it: The soap-behind-the-soap in my head great improves my enjoyment of the soap on screen

Until Nick & she get the urge to screw then it will be smell the fart sad faces & tears.

True! Of course, I could retcon that for 'ya, and show a drawer filled with sh!t she stole after Cassie's death laugh.gif

LOL Yep, I could totally seem them doing this.

Exactly.

Brad's death makes Sharon a klepto but Faith's DOESN'T?

More holes.

Of course, saying that Sharon was a klepto as a teen was just a way of trying to give credence to the current story, a lame manipulation in order to make something so fake seem so real. rolleyes.gif

Then she falls in love with Adam in two days, a couple of episodes after she swore she would never be tricked by a man and that she would be smart. Of course, all the warning she got from Jack, Phyllis, Victor, Nikki, Nick and others are now removed from her brain. Sheesh.

Skye also enjoyed casual sex and didn't base her entire identity around a man. Of course she had to die horribly, and then get a retcon of being molested by her gyno.

Oh, and I love how Sharon was supposed to be a klepto as a teenager, then spent around 14 years (or around 25 when you think of SORASes) not being a klepto and then went back to being one again? What made her stop? What really triggered it again? Why didn't Cassie's death do this? Holes, holes, holes.

These writers don't care about character fandom they write to things they suck at such as plot and coupledom and make horrid creative decisions

No it doesn't.

That Sharon & the Sharon who slept with her ex husband, her current husband & her current husband's brother in the span of WEEKS aren't comparable.

Amen!

Well, of course I'd use this retcon. Maybe Sharon forgot other things from her teenage years....like Cassie's twin Carrie!

I'm just playin' now. I'll stop, I promise.

And NONE of them had any room to talk.

Especially since in the past three years one was kicked out of the senate for committing several acts of corporate fraud, another was sent to jail for extortion & directly implicit in the deaths of TWO people, another repeatedly attempted murder in between abusing family & friends, another was caught in a sick co dependent relationship with an ex while married to someone else who tried to MURDER her for money & the last sleeping with anything that moves while using a dead child as an excuse to sex a mentally ill ex.

It's like The Salem Witch Trials.

I swear I would stop watching if I have to I'd just go back to DOOL the soap that does ridiculous Doplangers and dead ringers better and that's not saying much

That is awful. I know that I basically don't believe FOR ONE MINUTE that Sharon was Dru's "best friend". A real best friend would be intimately involved with the lives of her survivors.

But then too, so would the cancer-survivor aunt.

Although Adam can shut the heck up about his Harvard education. I think he throws in that word daily.

Good Point never thought of this one...
