I think it would be more of a conflict between Sharon and Phyllis, instead of Newman/Abbott. I can see both of them hating it if their children got together.

But what if Phyllis' daughter is a bad, bad girl? Like Phyllis used to be? What if she wants to make mama PAY for giving her up? ("Which one of you b!tches is my mother?"). That would actually be an interesting dynamic that we haven't actually seen by Phyllis--where she is the one putting out the goodwill, but is betrayed.
