The thing with Daniel Goddard is that he used to be ok. And then Billy Miller came on and DG must have been like "Holy [!@#$%^&*]!" So he tried to do some Acting-with-a-capital-A stuff but he tried too hard. Compound this with THE major question: who the hell is Cane as a personality? Because TPTB sure as hell do not know. When MAB and TB got in touch with each other, there must have been mass rejoicing because the thinking was, this is going to solve the Cane Dilemma. But it doesn't. It rights a big SL wrong as vommed by LML. But it doesn't give us insight as to who is Cane and why would he get caught up in this crazy scheme.

The way things are going with the plot-driving, I'm thinking Cane is going to be written into a corner and will probably turn into a psycho. By which point, Lily will either be shtupping P3 (yay. Yet another Chancellor. Kay and Jill will be so thrilled) or getting Rafe to rethink that whole, like, gay thing. Or best of all, the new child-bride/babymama to the real Philip Chancellor II.

LOL. You have your Ps wrong.

Bierdz is P3.

is P4.

Donelley Rhodes was P2.

We never met P1.

Well, Cole lasted at least a half-a-decade without blood ties. So did Ryan McNeil.

Brad Carlton lasted 20 years without blood ties.

So, sure, that'll get Cane off the canvas soon.

To be fair, the future of all characters we love are in danger... especially Adam and Mary Jane. As soon as their stories conclude, the writers will either write some redemption story or drop them just because they don't have the ability to think about the stories long-term.
