Chloe doesn't care because being a mother to Delia is more important to her now. There was a scene where she is trying to convince Cane not to take Delia she said you made me a Chancellor, Billy made me an Abbott and Delia made me a mother.

I think the writers felt that they addressed Mac's history with JT by having Billy mention her "stint with JT".

Personally, I'll settle for honorable. For years Neil filled that role for me. He may not be the most exciting character, but I always felt I could count on him to simply do the right thing and I loved having that to count on. I guess I saw him as a great father figure type character. MAB killed all that in one fell swoop all for Tyra. Tyra!! If Neil had been married to Karen and Dru came back and Neil just had to be with her, that I would understand, but Tyra!

Now Mac is the only character left that I consider honorable. It's one of the reasons I have loved this character through all the casting and recasting problems. She's original. A good girl who rarely plays the pathetic victim. I can only hope that MAB understands the character. We have Chloe and Amber to raise hell and stab people in the back. Sharon to cry a bucket of tears every week. Mac tries to do what is right always, she doesn't break up families or steal husbands. She is a stoic. DO NOT %&* WITH MY MAC Y&R. Just do not do it.

This show needs a thorough clean up. :)

Let me use (annoying for some, I bet) an analogy from the mythology: it needs a Hercules who will clean the Augean stables in one day by rerouting the rivers Alpheus and Peneus to wash out the filth. B)

So no to large-scale slaughter, but a clean-up is necessary.

I'll admit to being a bit of a gossip whore, but when it comes to interviews, I know it's best to completely avoid them. I never buy soap magazines and I rarely click on an interview link, but every once in awhile my curiosity gets the better of me. I'm usually sorry.

Cutting down the cast, the young and the ruthless-like:

Eden

Jana

Kevin

Daniel*

Amber

Heather*

Tyra

Ana

JT

Victoria**

Colleen**

Lily**

Cane

Gloria*

Jeffrey* (even though I love the Shack)

* come back at a later stage

** come back at a later stage recasted

And I hear ya, dmarex, about needing to take time away and recharge the batteries. I'm thinking I need to do that, too.

I did like how enthusiastic Noah was about the baby. It was sweet. Yeah, the truth is bound to come out, but it was nice to see him support his mother. I would like to see more of Noah in Sharon's life. He is almost grown up. He should be his mother's greatest supporter not Jack.

Is Devon going off to look for his biological father? I cannot tell where this story is going exactly.

ITA. The one thing that has been made clear with Chloe is that she may be unwisely in love with Billy and care about material things, but unlike Billy, Delia is her priority. Chloe is a mother first and foremost. I love that this has not made her a bore. They now have to move her away from Billy and Mac into her own sphere. I miss seeing Chloe at work.

Am watching the beginning of Monday's episode after missing a week of Y&R and -- OMG! Why did nobody warn me about Billy's horrendous flip flops! OMG! My eyes! :o

I *heart* Billy and think BM exudes sexiness (especially when he's in a suit or quickly disrobing from one) but the lust factor just went down about 5 notches there.

Rul & Mac had five seconds together and they were sweetly hot. And Clementine looks beautiful with her hair tied back. Liz H looks exquisite too.

Detective Hotter-now-than-when-I-was-Justus-on-GH is on. Sweet.

I know. It was a shock for me, too. Docksiders, definitely. Billy is a prep. But flip-flops? Noooooo. Only the supermodel Gisele can pull off flip-flops. And that's cause she's Brazilian.
