I'm not sure what you're hearing, but in this Bleeding Red area, they are furious because the "Democrats used the impeachment to cover up what Biden really did." With Sanders having made so many positive comments about Cuba and the Soviet Union in the past there was plenty for Trump to exploit about socialism. Trump needed this election to not be an indictment on him, but based on fear and buzzwords. I see that the NYT put out a piece on Biden's accuser today, which of course has been controversial and blown up the whole thing even more. I don't have the stomach to read it. Her story is just full of holes for me, namely how much she has changed key portions. I also feel like I have no real right to be in a position to judge though.
