Thank God: The NYT has finally fired their disastrous public editor Liz Spayd, the champion of 'balance' and 'both sides'-ism above all who blamed liberal intolerance for the outcry over the Times publishing an editorial from climate denialist Bret Stephens, after a brutal interview last week.

I read the last one - didn't know about the rest. Thanks. I had to laugh that they said the public would be their editor. That paper cares as much about the public as Mitch McConnell does.

thank you for posting this. I didn;t know if he had resigned or not.....Lack caught HELL for trying to dump him in favor of Williams, whom he wanted to move to the 9pm central in an effort to get him back on as anchor of NBC News.

Agree.  I still remember the hell she caught for saying she wasn't a stand-by-your-man kind of wife on "60 Minutes."  I hated it, too, when that Hillary disappeared into all those pantsuits.
