Just my take - and maybe I'm way off base! - but I think it's more serious than the media is trying to portray. If this was "mild", quarantining at the White House should, I think, be sufficient.

But I know fatigue has been mentioned as far as Trump goes. And a fever.

With someone younger, they could probably weather it better. But Trump is elderly and overweight.

If this is a hoax, then it's a pretty [!@#$%^&*] elaborate one.

Ten bucks says the man is on a respirator as we speak.

The media isn't trying to portray it, the WH is. And it's not working. If he was alright we'd have seen him on TV today like they'd hoped for.

This PTSD fantasy bullshit needs to stop. He's got it. Move on.

Marine One sure has been sitting there awhile.  Thus far they're only showing from the far side, and the door to the WH is blocked from view.  They said he would be walking out to Marine One.  So it's either serious, and he comes out on a gurney or wheelchair, or it's a photo op and they're getting cameras in place so that he can smile and wave for the photo op.

I still am torn between wondering how serious it is and if this is just more godawful PR work from Trump and his incompetent flacks, but whatever they are doing is a shambles. They're lucky so many are willing to play along. They made a big mistake being so openly hostile toward Chris Wallace this week AND exposing him to COVID, as he is clearly not willing to play along.

    • I know there was one brief scene in the summer of 1989 where Lillian did mention Calla.. but in relation to her past relationship to Ross and it was to Roger while he was a patient at Cedars.  I think he was trying to pump her for information on Ross.. and for some reason, Calla's name came up.   I could see perhaps Beth mentioning that her mother Lillian was visiting Calla.. but not exactly giving any sort of details as to the going ons in Calla's life off screen.

    • They're neither great nor terrible AFAIK, but it is more a question of the streaming numbers in this day and age vs. actual TV airings. The Chibnall era reminded me much more of the crisis years, but I do think it's a very real possibility now as well due to the streaming bubble collapse affecting the show and its prospects.
    • ANYTHING to get her off the screen..she COULD have been interesting if she and Van had a few face offs..(there was a mild one of her going back to work...but I wanted something meatier "Bitch, I am Vanessa Chamberlain and I don't take advice from someone who followed the..career path you did!" I did like Alex's outright disdain for her.
    • Thanks @Vee for the commentary.    I haven’t even watched this season yet after  I couldn’t get past the couple episodes last season…like it was too Disneyified for my taste, although I did think it was a least better than the Chibnall era (but so is a lot of things). I’ll probably go back and binge it now. Hoping this season ends on a high note. I did read the ratings are terrible. As it stands I’m beginning to feel like what long time DW fans felt with S26 in 1989.
    • Yes, they are all on contract. Next.
    • I also never understood Alex's friendship with Sonni or keeping the secret of Marah's paternity.  Not exactly heartbroken about Ms. Sally being ushered to the Hereafter.

I'm sorry but I'm a glutton for punishment. Would love to see this woman OWNING the canvas. Telling off Leslie who tells her she's the head b!tch.
    • And in case anyone is confused; Rusty was hired by HB to work undercover and infiltrate some gang sabotaging Lewis.
