October 10Oct 10 Member I love that the first person they met with was not one of the obvious choices. We already have 3 of the shows biggest stars as hosts, so it'll be interesting hearing perspectives from people like Brian Austin Green and Tonya Crowe. I give them props because the podcast has come along way in a short time. Love that there is a video element now since I enjoy watching it in the background while I work. Looking forward to seeing what guests are coming up!

I hated that they couldn't remember the story Michelle was talking about. This was when Val had gone crazy and Anne was trying to bag Gary since she was struggling financially. She ended up becoming the twins sunday school teacher to get close to him. Regardless of how Ted may have treated her behind the scenes, they never should've put those characters together so I'm glad they put a stop to it. If Gary was going to be with anybody other than Val by that point, it should've been Pat.
October 18Oct 18 Member I’m on episode 3 of We’re Knot Done Yet and Michele Lee is bat sh$t crazy!! I love her though. Edited October 18Oct 18 by Efulton
October 18Oct 18 Member Didn't Constance McCashin indicate that she didn't care for Ted S. during her interview with Kim Lankford? Or maybe it was both of them. 2025 has felt like 5 years so my memory of the interview is quite distant now.

In part 2 Constance McCashin talks about Ted Shackelford.

The last time I saw her was in some video a few years ago where I got the vibe her daughter was trying to push her into having religious viewers similar to her own and I had to turn that video off fast.

Lord I had actually more or less enjoyed Season 12 up until that point. I had never understood why they had Val go crazy like that so late in the show. It would’ve made more sense if Val had breakdown back in S9 after Ben disappeared or even if Danny caused her to breakdown but that was a bit much and an unnecessary plot device.

The Lechowicks had Val go crazy for one reason and one reason only: so that they could delay Gary and Val's reunion just that much longer (with their getting remarried on the 300th episode also on the agenda). Now, far be it from me not to want to tease out a romantic reunion for as long as possible, but there definitely were better, more logical ways of doing it than giving "poor Val" a "brain virus," lol.
October 19Oct 19 Member A great read on season 13 https://thatsallsiknow.blogspot.com/2017/10/knots-landing-season-13.html - with input by "James Magnuson, who was brought aboard by Romano at the start of the season, and was one of the two writers retained when creator David Jacobs famously shut down production after fifteen episodes, sacked Romano, and sent out an S.O.S. to legendary soap scribe Ann Marcus."

Lol so true. Still completely unnecessary and contrived, especially since Aunt Ginny left right before Val went crazy in the same convenient way Lilimae did before Jill targeted Val. I would’ve at least explain as some sort of psychological trauma breakdown between Ben and Danny before the brain virus explanation at the very least.
October 21Oct 21 Member I really admire those here that stuck it out through the final four seasons. For me they were a chore to get through and Paige practically eating the show during the final four seasons didn't help matters either.
