Life With Ryan

Boy I think that Ryan is a few corn flakes short of a cereal bowl. Or, for lack of a better word, he is definitely one Krispy Kreme short of a Baker's Dozen. Gosh I tell you just standing out there in the snow and then acting as if nothing happens since he showers Annie with some Dynamite Kiddo kisses. Lordy he is just taking on a new life of his own with this weird and bizarre behavior that even makes the gloved one look as sane as Mother Teresa on her missions. But I am telling you that it will not be soon before Ryan gets even more stranger....he will probably start running through the beach of Pine Valley in a tuxedo since that is just the most appropriate attire down there at that good ole beach on the coastless state of Pennsylvania. Heck Ryan may wind up traveling in his private jet (doesn't he have one? He can always borrow it, being that he is the Patron Saint of Pine Valley) wearing a dominatrix outfit. Yep I tell you it is going to be some freakazoid little thing that he will be looking about and what not because anything about Ryan is just freaky....heck even more so than the Addams Family! Perhaps they can redo the show and have it go, "They are creepy and they are skanky. They are freaky and they are nasty....the Lavery Family." Heck even a back from the dead Errheadin would do some good and possibly get those ratings to just go way up and up to the point where Ryan has to climb a Dynamite Kiddo ladder to get to that height. I just wonder what will happen once he gets there...I am sure that Ryan will have the power to create his own wings and then fly off to London looking like an owl with a perked up bizzidoodah to have the Queen eat pizza...after all, Ryan does believe that pizza is the most popular food there. Wrong country, Dynamite Dillweed! That would be Italy, the one that is shaped like a boot so it kicks you in the privates (if you have any, St. Ryan). This is just going to be some big ole adventure of Ryan's with his life, being all nasty and freaky because those are the traits that he, for some reason, loves the most.

Thank you btw for giving me the link to paradise last year. It took me a while but I'm truly enjoying myself over there now that I'm posting. It's good to be around people who love the Zen just as much, or more than I do.

My gosh...Zach and Kendall were so great. Lish wasn't kidding, whe she told SOD, she filmed fun scenes with Thorsten. Loved the blah blah blah, Zach's smile/laugh, the kissing, the arse grab. Everything was awesome

Poor Zach! That dream!

I enjoyed Erica's scenes at the spa too-love spa/salon environments

    • His original motives were unclear and all we knew was that he was working for Iris. But when it was revealed that Evan was Janice's son we found out that he had fallen in with Iris not because he wanted to follow Iris specifically but because he had his own anti-Rachel agenda. Charles Grant had more charisma than the later recast Eric Scott Woods who seemed younger to me.
    • Throwing this out to the universe: finding Elisabeth Shue's episode of As the World Turns (which I guess would have been circa 1983, maybe just before RDJ started watching Search for Tomorrow).

    • I thought today was still good. Leo is always awful, but the characters treating him like he's a plague feeds my soul. Rafe in particular had been very passive about him, but today was wonderful seeing him put Leo on notice. I really think it's being written that Javi is going to have to eventually take the blinders off and see Leo for who he really is. Them having sex on Gabi's desk made me want to explode. Roman taking in stray Doug was nice to see. And the mention of Frankie and Max was unexpected, but good to know they're at least being thought of. Tate being petty and a bit vindictive by going back to Sophia's as soon as he saw Doug with Holly was entertaining for me. I think I actually like Tate the most out of all of them because he's so damn messy.  Is Holly about to be kidnapped? Her first time? Also, Gabi finally revealing what happened with her the night EJ was shot and the clearing of all the other main suspects, but Johnny made this still feel like an important episode. I think Johnny will be cleared soon enough leaving everybody at a loss for the hell shot EJ. How the real shooter will be revealed is going to be interesting.  Speculation: When Kristen finally puts together that her daughter Rachel shot him, she'll agree to frame her mother for the crime, while keeping her hidden away from Salem.
    • That would have saved the Anita singing segment -- having her by herself, singing quietly and reflectively. Belting it out like she was in church did not work. The black screens fade at the end was a mistake. BTG insists on being different with these fades for the sake of being different, and it's not working.   I thought all of that was just fine. Worked for me.   I'm going to disagree with this. Martin hasn't had many scenes with his parents, but he's been around family A LOT -- and that's what matters. We also know Martin is someone with a hair trigger response. He can be very emotional when discussing an issue before getting to the logic and reason of it all.
    • My view of Evan is that he's smart but not as smart as he thinks he is, not a good guy but not an entirely bad guy - he's a lot of things, the show never quite knowing what to do with them. I never saw him as Iris' follower because Iris always seemed a bit in over her head from the start.
    • She was the Town Historian, who knew a bit too much about Brandon and the infamous cottage.  SF was still a pretty normal place at that time, with Nola and Reva being the most outrageous citizens....seems that Carrie Pipper would have stood out a bit more for people.

    • Yes, I need to dot hat. Also on my list talking to the person I got these files from since they clearly have a mess, in terms of dates being wrong. And, unfortunately finding one date wrong, automatically means more are wrong, too.
