October 24, 200718 yr Member At lunch, Nikki tells Katherine that she and Victor are divorcing. Nikki complains about how Victor wants to control her whole life. Katherine points out that Victor hasn’t changed in 20 years and it must be something that she did to cause their unhappiness. Katherine reminds Nikki of how much she and Victor have been through together. She wonders if Nikki looks past the stubbornness, that in her heart, she still really loves him. I was reading the beginning of this thread, and I have to agree with everything Katherine said to Nikki... It amazes me how after sooooo many years of dealing with Victor and his ego, Nikki suddenly wants to cry "Control Freak" If anything the sole reason why Nikki truly wanted to drop Victor was because David "Doofus" Chow was sniffing all around her legs like the dog that he is. I'm glad the grand Kay slam dunked Nikki by pointing out her own flaws.
October 24, 200718 yr Member ^^^Hahahahahahahah Cat, you HAVE MADE MY DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!! :D Well Done!!!
October 24, 200718 yr Member I know eh. That was really bad. But that's what you get when you have newbie daytime producers like LML, Josh Griffith and Anthony Morina. Y&R's production values have gone to hell without Ed Scott and Kathy Foster. Is Josh Griffith, nearly 20 years on, still a newbie?
October 24, 200718 yr Member Nope, but he's surrounded by blood sucking monsters. And, anyways, if LML has kept him on, it means that he's doing what she wants him to, so he's just as bad as them. Who knows? Perhaps he even agrees with their vision of what Y&R is!!! Edited October 24, 200718 yr by YRBB
October 24, 200718 yr Member Haha ok that has me intrigued--what does that even mean? Anyway I have a lot of respect for the man but he certainly has his good and bad points (I still wish the lat enight New orleans gothic soap hima nd Malone and Gottlieb made a pilot for had happened--13 Bourbon St )
October 24, 200718 yr Member I don't know what is his role in all this mess. He's just credited as co-exec producer. And co-execs usually run the writers' room. That's why I said - he's a Sphinx to me. An enigma, wrapped up in a puzzle, wrapped up in a conundrum, wrapped up in foam.
October 24, 200718 yr Member wow does this great idea ever suck being played out... i dont like feture a group of people everday angle. its lame. show me everyone in the same episode. make me at least kinda think something will happen to someone major. we now, 2 days into it have nick sharon noah maggie paul and lauren out... what the hells? please. but Tracy Bregman rocked the house. She is so amazing. Cant wait to actually see JC!!!
October 24, 200718 yr Member Lol, this is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad. I mean I totally hate most of GH right now, but at least I know they deliver when they're doing a "stunt". I think I enjoyed the day to day boringness of Y&R more than I've enjoyed this "Out of the ashes" boringness.
October 24, 200718 yr Member Yeah this is kinda lame... I mean the poster looks better than the actual presentation of the day to day episodes. I think what really bothers me about the whole thing is just how non tense the situation is. I mean its Wednesday already and unfortunately Maggie and Paul both made it out alive. Sharon was out on Day 1. Probably Katherine and Amber will be stuck together and eventually get out today or Thursday. I mean if Y&R was gonna imitate GH they should have at least done it right. Wheres the weekly GH thread? And was the website down or something yesterday?
October 24, 200718 yr Member I mean the poster looks better than the actual presentation of the day to day episodes. And it's a Heroes rip-off.
