Maybe this is the cynic in me. But increasingly I think the hospital being de-emphasized in the last couple of years, especially post COVID, is because they don’t want to offend any potential part of the audience. Medical science is under attack so they just avoid it altogether. Unless you have eye mites or have been shot/stabbed/attacked in whatever umbrella storyline the current big bad is in. When ER and Grey’s became popular, the hospital got a boost. I don’t think The Pitt is getting the same kind of reciprocation.
This drives me crazy. In today’s business world, Victor would probably be a billionaire. But the rest of them should not be! They can be rich, but there is a limit. But the problem is they are all ultra wealthy and the shows cannot portray that because of budgets. The wardrobes alone suffer a lot. And again, there should be people not wealthy featured too!
