I am always excited to see the ratings, but this week I really am. I really want to see GH's rating. I am just so hoping they overtake B&B for one week during February, but if they don't at least they have had great ratings.

Last Friday, 4 shows had exciting cliffhangers but esp. GH and GL. I am just anxious to see what their Friday ratings were. CBS highly promoted that it would be a murderous week on their shows so everyone should have known something was coming. Most of the other shows had their big things before Friday and GL was the only one left. And they didn't disappoint with the shooting of Alan at the end. I just hope they got at least a good rating on Friday, but since some didn't see it until Monday morning who knows.

I wouldn't be surprised to see high ratings for Wednesday's shows due to the bad weather in the Northeast.

Wow ATWT got a 3.0 for Tuesday. WTG

Another 4.8 for Y&R and another week at 4.6. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And look at those numbers for GL - so glad they rose even if Friday wasn't that great but they beat their normal 2.2

And Passions even got a 2.0 - Great for them

And WTG for GH - on up to 3.2. Great job. And their best day was not even the day of the explosion.

Great job. So glad for them.

Another good week, although I would have liked to see GH hop over BB. Its nice to see most soaps doing well this sweeps. What happened on Tuesday? Was that the day the snow storm went through?? Most soaps had abnormally high ratings.

It could have been for some, but I thought the biggest day of snow was Wednesday.

Forgot to say congrats to AMC too. All the way up to 2.8.

Although they still have some technical problems, the stories have been so good lately. And very entertaining. And the ratings are showing for it. They have been steadily coming back up since January.

I just dont understand what DAYS is thinking right now. It is BOOORING. I watched more consistently thatn I had in years from mid December through early February, but I haven't watched at all in the last two weeks...and apparently I'm not the only one...

    • And it’s amazing how much they covered In only a few short months, Cora died 7/25/84. I would think a story like that would be a 6 month arc
    • Karen Witter.  I liked her Tina Lord  almost as much as Andrea Evans.  Most a yone would've been better than Mrs Ron Moss.
    • Sally started seeing Peter in the first half of 1983, and then Donna was introduced. That led to the reveal of Kevin Thatcher as Sally's son and her engagement to David after Peter dumped her and David's wife died. On a parallel track the same year Blaine's tormentor Alma Rudder was murdered. Blaine and Larry's mother Jeanne had come to town and they (at least Blaine and Clarice) found her very trying. Jeanne was taken ill and Larry found evidence that she had been injured when she fought with Alma and her wound had become fatally infected. On her deathbed she confessed that she had another son, Catlin. He arrived in Bay City under the alias Josh Peterson in early 1984 around the time Blaine and Sandy's son Alex was born.  Catlin and Sally were all the rage for most of 1984. Early 1985 was the Introduction of Brittany and then Mary Page Keller was replaced by Taylor Miller in July 1985. Jake and Victoria were introduced in early 1985.
    • @Paul Raven & @Neil Johnson were discussing Tom King's time at Another World in 1980.  From his IMDB he also wrote for Ryan's Hope and One life to live.  Does anyone recall the plot highlights from his times on those soaps?
    • Victor Newman NEVER walks away from a fight! True- he shuffles...
