December 29, 200619 yr Author Member What if they show had KB do the voice over while MS worked it out?
December 29, 200619 yr Member What if they show had KB do the voice over while MS worked it out? That would remind me of those old Kung Fu movies that never could get the voice overs to be in sync with the on-screen dialogue!
December 29, 200619 yr Member Well I wasnt sure about this storyline but I knew Michelle was going to kill it and I was not wrong. She is playing this physco to the hills and I personally think she might be looking at some of Kimberly stuff to get some marrarizms down. She is rocking and I am so going to love this storyline. I also see that she is getting Doug to bring his A game. Wow all the people Lauren, Micheal and Nick are going to rock in this storyline.
December 30, 200619 yr Author Member Because of the whole Phillip/Jill/Katherine stuff here is a clip of Philip Foster (Thom Bierdz) is being cross-examined by Michael Crawford during his adoption hearing. ... (more) Clip
December 30, 200619 yr Member OMG! Y&R was so, so good today. Michelle Stafford will win an Emmy for this. Repeat after me. Michelle Stafford will win an Emmy for this. The end, trying to be like Phyllis? OMG! Hand on the hip... hand on the other hip... oh Nick, I love you Nick... oh baby... Nick... Then she moves in closer to the mirror. She flashes a smile for about .2 seconds, then that deliciously soulless scowl. "Payback, it's a B!TCH." I kid you not, when I saw that scene, my mouth dropped to the floor and I literally gasped, "WOW!" That never happens. Edited December 30, 200619 yr by Kenny

December 30, 200619 yr Author Member Do you think Phelia will succeed? And if she does, what if she ends up MARRYING Nick? I think it would be great to have a final showdown at the wedding, Phyllis breaks out and confronts Phelia right there in front of everyone at the wedding!
December 30, 200619 yr Member --> QUOTE(Chris B @ Dec 29 2006, 12:12 PM) Wow! This Sheila story is much better than I expected. Huh? Please enlighten me and tell what was good about so far. The dialogue was awful and even below NBC standards and the whole set-up is just ludicrous. MS didn't impress me at all; also ridiculous that her voice is the excact same she does not even try to lower it... Doug Davidson is superb meanwhile. But how stupid is it that Paul is apparently more crazy than Sheila. He lost all his marbles as it seems. Great story, indeed. Fabulous! *end of sacrcasm* Amber/Jana were highlarious; why is Amber wasted on the schoolgirl [!@#$%^&*]es and not paired in a story with our Miss Jack of all trades? This was great camp value - loved it for a change. Yet, WTF at Kay confiding in Amber. Reality check, dear writers, get a clue, nothing makes sense on this contrieved mess of a show anymore...
December 30, 200619 yr Member --> QUOTE(Chris B @ Dec 29 2006, 01:00 PM) I read that in the 80s he helped feed this man rats while his wife held him captive in a cage! Paul can be quite the badass when they let him. I've always loved him (especially with Christine) but most people think I'm crazy for it. Actually, Brad was held captive in a cage by his crazy ex Lisa Masfield. She also nearly starved him to death but sneaky Lauren and Jack came to his rescue. Paul is great character (now runied), but Doug Davidson has always been good.
December 30, 200619 yr Member The cage thing I'm talking about is different from Brad in the cage. I think the womans name was Julia. Huh? Please enlighten me and tell what was good about so far. Fabulous! *end of sacrcasm* Well that is your opinion which I completely disagree with. I thought the dialogue was great, I'm loving the performances from Michelle Stafford and Doug Davidson and I don't think the character of Paul is crazy. With your name being SHEILAforever, I don't expect you to like this. I personally thought her dreadful returns on the dreadful B&B (and last year on Y&R) were much worse than this story. This is an exciting dose of camp (which I love) plus it's well acted and so far makes sense. And beyond this, Katherine's story is absolutely fabulous and has been perfectly set up from the beginning. Seeing her with Amber bugs some people, but I enjoy this as well. I'd much rather they connect Amber to Katherine via her friendship with Stephanie than having her with the teens. They could still test her with Korbel, but she wouldn't be so dependant on the teen set. Oh yes and I rewatched Fridays show (had to see it twice!) and finally got to see Gloria kissing Will. What an evil tramp! And the look on her face when Jill kissed her man? My god! The nerve of that cow!

I think the womans name was Julia. In that we're talking about different stories. You probably mean EVIL VICTOR (yep, he once was before he became that pimp-coat wearing softie. LOL!) who locked up the boyfriend (?) of his (former?) wife Julia (Meg Bennent) in the basement. This must have been ca. 1980. Brad in the cage was ca. 1988. Quoting dialogue from Friday: "Sheila, no one is going to see your hair or your plastic surgery" WTF - who's talking that way!? "If someone stumbled upon you they would think you locked yourself up by accident" WTF!? Can it get any more contrieved, messed up and stupid in the writer's room? Can it get any more contrieved, messed up and stupid in the writer's room? What's wrong with that dialogue? She wanted hair dye so that as her hair grows, her natural color won't show through and she can keep Phyllis' trademark red hair, and he told her that nobody was ever going to see her hair or her plastic surgery... what's wrong with that line? LoL I didn't think anything was wrong with it. As far as locking herself up by accident, as Paul said, Sheila built that cell herself. It's entirely possible that someone would think the door accidentally closed on her and she locked herself in there, completely by accident.
