December 16, 200619 yr Member I thought you had to appear in around 65 or more episodes for the calendar year of 2006 to be nominated/pre-nominated for an Emmy. Blake Berris doesn't qualify anywhere close to 65 episodes. That's why this is just making me scratch my head. Why would they even enter someone they knew couldn't be nominated. Is there by chance a different rule for the young actor category?
December 16, 200619 yr Member Kyle Brandt!! They pre-nomed him when he had no material and this year he had AMAZING performances so he should be considered So its that time of year again? The Days and Passions pre-nominations that will end up going nowhere
December 16, 200619 yr Member Blake Berris? Please tell me this is a joke. PR, KA, and RM will be nominated, if anyone. Melvin rocked the house with Zach! As did the others.
December 16, 200619 yr Member Yeah, Martha Madison, Renee Jones and James Reynolds all have big scenes to present PR should submit Zack's death IMO because he had some good stuff - but to me that was a weak story -, DH doesn't have enough material (since she had like no airtime from January until October) Hopefully, next year, if this "Marlena loses John" story plays out well, she'll have some fab stuff Now if only she'd put her name on the darn list. December 18, 200619 yr Member If PR doesnt submit the episodes: - When he found out Chelsea was the one hit Zach - When he broke down at Zach's gravesite in February then he is CRAZY!!!!!!
December 18, 200619 yr Member Yeah, PR rocked the graveyard scenes, and he's a fool if he doesn't submit them.
December 18, 200619 yr Author Member I think PR should submit the scene where he broke down outside the bar and Billie helped him. I though that scene was AMAZING.
December 18, 200619 yr Member King you are right on. Those should be Peter's reels. He was also good in the summer when he learned about Chelsea and the emails but I think your choices are best. The graveyard scenes are probably my favorite though and Pinson really did well there too. Kristian has alot from the Zach story. I honestly don't know what she should choose. That Friday episode was only about her scream at the end. She could submit Zach's funeral episode. That was good and probably the episode where Bo is pulling her back as they say their final goodbye. Those stick out to me. Martha should do the scene in the chapel during the Zach story when she was talking to God and the scene where she lost the baby. Those are her two in my mind. Renee should submit the episode where she is trying to save Zach and probably one of the episodes after the affari was revealed. If they put Pinson in, I would say she should submit the episode where she was in jail and Kate and her had that long scene where she talked about not having her around as a mother when she was younger. That episode and her confession on the witness stand during the divorce hearing are her two. Jim Reynolds has the affair reveal episodes. Rachel Melvin has the Zach story and maybe she can pull a recent episode from somewhere to balance that out. SN and MBE should submit the graveyard scenes or maybe the Cincinatti scenes and last Monday's show. Bryan Dattilo should go with when he learned Carrie cheated and something else. As for drama series subimission, I would go with the Zach funeral episode or last Monday's episode.
December 18, 200619 yr Member Martha has tons tons tons and TONS to choose from. She cried for like a month straight.
December 18, 200619 yr Member Your right King. She did. I just think those two episodes I posted about were the most note-worthy. Edited December 18, 200619 yr by PhoenixRising05
December 18, 200619 yr Member I think Kristian should submit the scenes where she said goodbye to Zack in the hospital, which is also the episode I think DAYS should submit for Drama Series.
December 18, 200619 yr Member Here's what I think each actor should submit Kristian Alfonso - saying goodbye to Zack at the hospital Peter Reckell - the scenes in the graveyard with Billie Martha Madison - Belle's miscarriage Renee Jones - losing Zack and/or Abe finding Tek and Lexie James Reynolds - Abe finding out about the affair Bryan Dattilo - finding out Carrie cheated with Austin Julie Pinson - telling Hope on the witness stand that she never slept with Bo Stephen & Mary Beth - the scenes from last Monday's episode
December 18, 200619 yr Member Hmmm, I actually was hoping the pre-noms would look something like this: Best Actor: Peter Reckell, Stephen Nichols Best Actress: Kristian Alfonso, Martha Madison Best Supporting Actor: Matthew Ashford, Bryan Datillo Best Supporting Actress: Julie Pinson, Alison Sweeney Best Younger Actor: Darin Brooks Best Younger Actress: Ashley Benson, Rachel Melvin the only surprise on the list given is Blake Berris.
December 18, 200619 yr Member I think Ashford ended like five episodes short of the cut-off though. Still wondering about that Blake Berris!
