 Not sure what you're talking about as far as Ashford is concerned- I'm sure he was on enough episodes in 2006 to be eligible for a pre-nom. As far as the actual eligibility period, it goes from January '06-December'06

I'm not sure what I'm talking about either. But I do remember that he ended 2006 with 45 episodes, and for some reason I had remarked to myself right around his exit that it would be about five short of the required amount for the supporting actor category, based on a percentage of the year's estimated total episodes. However I can't find out where I had read the requirement in the first place, so I guess right now I have no idea what I'm talking about ;) I'll try to dig it up, I dunno maybe I made it all up.

I think Jason once posted that 49 episodes is the minimum needed to be considered....so Matt was four episodes short.

I'm pleased to see Bryan got a nomination. He should submit the scene after he discovered the A&C affair.

I hope the "several others" include Sweeney, Reynolds and Nichols. I agree that it hasn't been Ali's best year but the scene where Sami dumped Austin was phenomenal. I also have a feeling she'll be delivering some stellar performances in late December. ;)
