In his openning monolouge tonight, David Letterman asked if anyone liked the daytime 'stories.' Then he mentioned that ABC has this soap or story named All My Children and that they are going to introduce a trans-gender storyline.

Then he said something like "It makes me wonder, did they even look at my audition tape?"

This isn't the first time that Letterman has picked on the soaps....last year he had a running gag where they showed clips of the monkey from Passions.

Stupid AMC. I appreciate their effort, but giving the character a name like "Zarf?" ZARF?! Making the character sound as if he's a visitor from Mars isn't exactly the best way to promote equality.

I predict AMC is going to fall flat on their face....ABC Daytime is JUST A MESS and I am SO DAMN sick of these **LAME** stunts (and this one TAKES THE CAKE!) during sweeps periods.

The quality at AMC right now is just too damn poor to be able to expect to handle a storyline like this and seriously ZARF

With McTavrish at the helm, this storyline is bound to turn into unintentional comedy.
