The problem is they don't have Liz thinking she's done anything wrong, just running around town pointing out everyone elses flaws.

And Jason's a hitman, he kills people for a living. Liz stole evidence that was going to put him in prison and

destroyed it. She doesn't have much room to talk about Lucky knocking her to the floor, when a hitman is her best friend.

When she does illegal things for mobsters, it's good. When Lucky does anything, it's bad.

When Liz creates a fake drug bust, it's good. When Lucky does it, it's bad.

When Liz lies, it's good. When Lucky does it, it's bad.

When Liz cheats, it's technically not cheating. When Lucky does it, it's bad.

Carly called her out for being liar today and that is what she is. She's still lying to Lucky, Nik pointed out today she lied to him. She's lying to Lulu. Lulu called her out, and her abortion wouldn't have changed had Liz said "I'm pregnant." But the entire point of Lulu calling her out was for those lines where she dropped tidbits about the baby being Lucky's, and how she's married to the father of her child and the real reason Liz said nothing. The fact that she didn't know who was the father. Basically things to make Liz look worse and as a cheater.

Until Liz owns up to her own mistakes and lies then she deserves this. Sam does too, but that's a totally different post.

I think its a little bit more grey than alot of the points, but I also think you bring up really good points. Ie Liz does go out of the way for Jason to the detriment of her marriage at times, ie putting Jason before Lucky at times. But at the same time, I don't see Liz moralizing that Lulu should always tell her every single detail of her life, I don't see her saying "I'm good and your bad." And at the end of the day, Liz wasn't the one to cheat on their marriage, Lucky was. I guess that we just see things as opposite sides of the fence, because I see Liz as one of the more upfront and honest about themselves people in Port Charles. Liz didn't guess she was pregnant until Lulu mentioned the condoms being faulty.

But I gotta disagree on this. Liz did not cheat on Lucky. ;) And I don't think at this point, she owes Lucky anything. If Lucky wasn't screwing Maxie, Elizabeth would not have slept with Jason. At the end of the day, the girl walked in and saw her husband freaking down some teenager and repeatedly refusing treatment. Only when she really and truly left him, and he shot at her, and only when she told him about the baby did he want to clean up his act. And instead of focusing on his recovery, he's focusing on her and the baby when it should be about getting well. Lucky is pretty lost. He's really simple minded. I do think at some level, Elizabeth sees Lucky as pathetic. They have really written him as an inept bumbling fool. I can't think of a time when he hasn't been injured, lost a job, is broke etc. Which of course is to make Jason look golden but I digress....

I just don't find that Liz says, "I'm always right and youre always wrong." I think anyone, when they decide what to do about their life, is going to advance their view and what they think is best for them, no matter what went on in the past. Liz knows she does off things, but she owns them. She shouldn't be judged for not wanting her son around an addict. And she has made it clear she has reservations about Jason's life. And no matter what people have personally done, when they feel someone is hurting them and wronged them, they are going to advance why they did so. I find the rants of the characters about Liz a bit off, especially since Liz rolled into town as a bad girl. She herself describes herself as a reforming bad girl. She owns what she did with Jason but quite frankly, some of this is none of the town's people's business, but they are making it so. Liz didn't judge Lulu for her choices. I could see if she launched into a diatribe about what she did to Georgie, because in all honesty, she deserved it MORE than Maxie. But Liz didn't go there, she didn't pass judgment, tried to help the little heifer. Lulu is an ungrateful biitch by the way...

In this storyline, ie, Liz catching Maxie and Jason catching Sam, I just don't see them as having done anything wrong. Liz left her husband. She gave him a chance after initally catching him in bed, and caught him again. She left Lucky and has given him divorce papers. Jason saw Sam screwing his mortal enemy. They comforted each other and the rest really isn't anyone else's business.

Sorry for the length. :)

Liz is married, slept with another man and then the next morning went back to her husband to try again. She omitted her actions from the previous night and was going to continue her marriage without saying a word.

That is cheating.

Liz claims she has no problem with Jason's life, but is always over at his house or running around town after him.

Her tirade to Georgie also was incorrect since Liz failed to put in HER wrongs. She put it all on Georgie catching Dillion/Lulu

and what if Lulu hooked him on drugs. But acknowledging Georgie sleeping with another man and getting pregnant by him

didn't appear in her scenario.

I won't even go into her going to Carly's house with a smug attitude, towards her and then telling Carly's she's just jealous of Liz and Jason's closeness when Carly had the nerve to call her liar.

Liz thinks of everyone else as wrong and herself as always right and justified. Which is why the material with Maxie, Lulu and Carly the last couple days is actually good.

Liz is a self rightous, hypocritical liar. She really has a lot of nerve to come down on Maxie. At least Maxie knows who the father of her child is. I'm glad Maxie, LuLu and Carly have given Liz a smack down. She deserves it.

Laura Wright's character and Maxie just need to shut the hell up! Liz might be a little pious at times, I admit (and I'm a huge Liz fan), but at least she doesn't plot, scheme and manipulate the destruction of other people's marriages like Laura Wright's character and Maxie.

It's like Laura Wright took some of Sarah Brown's mannerisms -- the expressive hand gestures, eye-rolling, the [!@#$%^&*]ing etc. -- but without the fire, the heart or vulnerability of Sarah Joy Brown (or, indeed, of Tamara Braun). It's just a lot of self-righteous shouting and finger-pointing. Ugh. I don't like this self-satisfied Carly. And it's making me root for Liz more, even though Liz does get, as R Sinclair said, a little pious.
