I'm sure betty is a good actress, but I just don't think she was right for this particular role. She does come off cold, and I defiantly don't think she could come off as the warm and hip mom sally is.

Scoop! From Everwood to Los Angeles: Emily VanCamp shakes up the Walker dynasty!

Following months of casting deliberations (and a Hillary Duff scare) Canadian-born "Everwood" star Emily Van Camp, who had been screened out early on in the process was ultimately chosen for the coveted role of Rebecca, the illegitimate daughter of William Walker (Tom Skerritt) and Holly (Patricia Wettig).

According to available spoilers, Rebecca will make an appearance in episode #17 (airs at some point in March) when Holly calls her home for the first time after 2 years, telling her she has come into a windfall, but not revealing where the money had come from.

Emily Van Camp is scheduled to start filming her scenes this week on Friday. Touchstone Studio has declined comment.

ABC has announced that Margot Kidder who played the original Lois Lane in Superman I and II will make a special guest appearance in the upcoming sweeps episode of "Brothers and Sisters".

"Sex and the City" star Jason Lewis’s stay has been extended from 4 to 7 episodes. Also, Canadian-born actor Luke MacFarlane is coming back for a special February sweeps episode "Valentine's Day Massacre".

The writers are apparently satisfied with the execution of the storyline and have now extended Jason Lewis' role. That means he will remain on the show through early April.

I don't know about this choice, I was hoping for someone better.

Ha! And after all they did to downplay the VanCamp rumors! Just goes to show you, "Days" fans, regarding the Eileen thing, it ALWAYS starts with a rumor.

I loved the Kevin/Chad/Scotty triangle tonight. I felt bad for all 3 guys really...in the end when Chad said he would finally tell his girlfriend Then Scotty saying goodbye forever after he realized he was used to make Chad feel jealous...and then Kevin Scotty was so right though - Kevin is in Scotty's shoes now with Chad. He understands how Scotty felt when Kevin was too scared to go out with him. You have to love yourself before you can love others.

Nora and her friend was hilarious - whoever that friend was - she was awesome! Loved her!

Finally - I'm warming up to Kitty and the Senator - they were pretty hot in bed. Rob Lowe is so sexy. Anyway, even though I'm still a little upset they dropped Warren and the whole TV show - I'm starting to enjoy the Senator stuff.

Can't wait for next week!
