Absolutely loved the show today. It was great. The highlights for me were the Carrie, Sami, and Belle scenes and then Marlena and the girls. All of them are great together, have great chemistry together, and look damn hot.

I quit watching the show just when Shayna Rose joined the show. So could not get a good grasp of her due to only seeing a few episodes with her in it. I thought then I was going to like her, but they need to seriously think about recasting Stephanie. This girl is awful. The worse recast in a long time. And I thought she was the worst looking at the wedding. That hairstyle did absolutely nothing for her. Days usually gets it right with looks for the children - for the most part. Stephanie does not look like she could be Kayla and Steve's child at all.

Loved the ending. The show was so good.

Edit: I forgot to say that it was good to see Josh Taylor. I know most of you don't like him, but I do. I wish that if the show was going to keep him and it seems that they are, they would give him more to do. It is ridiculous to pay his salary and not use him.

AMAZING SHOW TODAY!!!

Loved Marlena and the girls and Sami actually caring for someone on her wedding day. Loving where Sami is going. I also loved Belle giving her the pearls and Sami mentioning Eric when the phone rang. Nice touches there. That smile on Sami's face when Kate answered the door were priceless.

Loved the little warning EJ gave Austin and loved the banter between Kate/EJ and how he kept shifting his eyes on her. As for Chris Gerse, recast someone please. The haircut won't help-it only makes it worse. Days needs a recast in the worst way for Will.

Missy needs a new do STAT. That do didn't work the first time and it is even worse this time.

Loved all the character interactions especially Steve/Billie. It could be interesting but I hope they make then friends and nothing more. Love seeing Billie and Chelsea all over the place now.

I like Shayna but she looked horrible today. I am ready for Max and Stephanie to end too, as well as Max and Chelsea.

Loved Steve, John, and Bo. Great story development there with the bank deposit and I love that everyone is using their brains now. I was hoping John punched the hell out of Roman. He had no right to get involved and I just loved how Kate asked John about Eve. Getting a little nervous she is.

Carrie and Austin were fantastic. Good acting by both and nice scenes.

The phone call Sami got was chilling as was the ending with Roman asking her if she wanted to marry Austin. The voice, the music, the tone....everything was just so mysterious and creepy in those scenes. Loved it.

I can't wait for the rest of the week-just an awesome show

Does anyone like CG as Will? This is a character that needs to be used, afterall he is the son of Sami Brady. I am glad he is in camps all the time so we never have to see him, but wouldnt he at least look athletic/in shape with all those camps he has been to over the years.

I seriously think for health reasons Will should be recast.. MY health reasons.

The only part I didn't like was Billie insinuating herself with Steve. Love her, but girl--hands off. He's my man first, Jo's second, Kayla's third, Steph's fourth, and no one else's, the end.

I agree with you on Shayna JSF, I find her to be refreshing in the role of Stephanie. I wouldnt call her look fab, but something about her draws me in her scenes.

I like Shayna too, despite me thinking she looked bad today. I love her acting and I do enjoy her on screen.

I'm indifferent to Shayna..I like her scenes with Steve and Kayla..But i can't stand her scenes flirting with Max, or trying to talk race car stuff..they need to drop the racing crap as soon as possible..

Me, too. The sooner the better. It is really difficult for me to believe that a young woman in her early 20's is an experienced and decorated race-car driver. My gosh what a lot of really heavy-weight with experience drivers there are in the world, besides even having the young Max Brady as a celebrity is a far stretch. He was supposed to be the local lad made good in racing, but we never heard of Stephanie. It is simply not a good storyline. And how old is Max really supposed to be. I thought he was about 25 or 26, not 20, like some are saying. Also, I think that Sheffer is trying different pairings out just to see how they play together and maybe straighten out the age differences such as Mimi definitely looks 20 but Belle looks 28. They are supposed to be in the same age group but it's not right. Mimi looks like she belongs with Chelsea, Abby, and Stephanie, to me. There is a lot to rearrange for Days and I'm looking forward to how Sheffer and crew do it.

I'm thinking when the recast Shawn comes in, we will see a shift. You're right Jean, Mimi does not fit with the baby saga because Farah looks way too young to play this type of story. She should be mixing it up with Max, Stephanie, Abby, and Chelsea. Also, Martha looks much older than Ali or Christie, but I totally buy she's the little sister, probably because she hasn't been on the show that long.

If JER hadn't made Stephanie a race car driver, I think more people could get into her character. Shayna sings, so it would have been more logical to bring her on as a pop singer at odds with Kayla. Of course, the new writers can always get her out of the racing and into something else.

I also think her look is not catching on with people because she doesn't look like a DAYS actress. What I mean is, DAYS usually goes for a certain type of look when they cast, and Shayna is so unusual, with her red hair and pale skin, where everyone else is tanned and brown-haired or blonde. She looks more like a CBS girl to me, GL or ATWT. Maybe she would have made a good Jennifer Munson recast. But I like Shayna because of her different look, and it's going to take time for people to get used to her.

The threat was based on the fact that EJ knows Austin and Carrie slept together on the roof. Treating Sami right was mean to be code for keep your hands off your wife's sister or I will tell what I know. Austin would lose Sami and Lucas at that point.

EJ is the only one who could make that threat because he has all of the facts.

I had completely forgotten about Austin's screw with Carrie. You're right, EJ was, it seems, well within his rights of threatening Austin.

That said, I have to comment on some posters' aversion to Shayna.

Like Bree said, NBC viewers are desensitized or used to a certain look. I learned this the hard way earlier this week, when someone posted a picture of the new Y&R "hunk" and I picked him to pieces due to all his imperfections -- having to have someone point out to me that he, unlike NBC soap stars (who I am used to) are IMperfect. And it really shocks the hell out of you to think of it but because Shayna is unique in that way, that really makes her SPECIAL.

Frankly, I am ENAMORED of her 30-foot-long hair. It's refreshing to see the girl step outside her fashion bounds. And I can buy and WOULD DIE if she were suddenly not this hotshot racer. I LOVE that about her.

I think that's all I wanted to say.

If the writers want viewers to *ever* like Billie, putting her in the middle of

another beloved supercouple is not the way to do it, especially

not at this stage of the game for the audience.

Viewers are returning to see S&K, some after not seeing Days in a

decade or more. New viewers need to get to know

S&K and become invested in them.

Billie is a distraction and detraction from *their* story.

Sure I *could* like Billie (in a friendship with S or K), but she

would be a nuisance as an interloper in this story, just as she

was a nuisance in the B&H story:

she needs to get a life and story of her own. She's

become a story-leech.

A triangle storyline for Steve and Kayla is the laziest,

most predictable story to tell right now. I will be really

disappointed in Sheffer if he goes that route.

They have enough story potential right now without

the need for that trite soap cliche.

As for Stephanie: I could grow to like her a lot more.

I like her spunk and energy

already. She isn't the typical whiny, bratty witch nor the whoa is me, boring

good girl. She is at her best in scenes with Steve and Kayla, but needs to learn

to play the vulnerability and softer side. She seems too...overconfident

and "look at me look at me", overtaking scenes sometimes.

She needs to learn to listen better.

The Max/Stephanie stuff is gross. Skeevy. I can't buy it.

Yeah, Steve looks like a biker and Billie looks like a biker chick but that is NOT enough reason for them to get together.

I'm here to watch the PHENOMENAL, WATER-COOLER love story of Steve and Kayla, NOT a Stayla/Billie love triangle. I will DIE if I have to watch that dreck. I will absolutey and utterly keel over and DIE!!!
