Jack and Ashley side makes total sense... they want to grieve in private and their father wasn't the type of man who would make a grand enterance, so they want a small private funeral without all the cirus mess. I went through something like this in real life (no evil stepmother, just a clueless family), and I find it odd that Gloria would think she would know more about John (who spent most of their marriage in jail anyways) than his own children. The logical thing to do would be to have an open memorial (for business associates and media) and a private funeral/burial (for family and friends)... but it's all about both sides trying to one up the other, so I guess that won't happen.

What's with Kevin and Michael thinking they have some kind of say in what's going on? Yesterday, I was a bit upset that they and Lauren where present at the arguement, and Jack and Ashley didn't even have Traci and Billy there with them.

Screw Gloria...and I'm glad that Katherine, whose known the Abbotts far longer than Gloria ever has or ever will, pointed out a few things to her. Neil annoys the crap out of me. If he wants to be with Carmen so bad and leave Dru, DO IT! Quit treating Dru like dirt, because she at least is trying to make her marriage work.

I was talking about today pooh, when they rehashed the conversation again. Billy was there today and he was as adament as Jack & Ashley. That extra voice should have meant more to Gloria.

What is LML doing? The whole landscape of this show has changed. John's death was great, but now it seems she wants the audience to root for the characters we hate, and has turned the charaters we love into one-note people.
