Y&R: I Like Sharon/Dru Friendship...

I think having Sharon/Dru friends was a very good move on TPTB part. There relationship doesn't come off as forced and it seems like VR/SC like playing off each other. I remember when Sharon and Dru were at odds, and Phyllis/Sharon were friends....

I think the time has way passed now to have a Dru/Phyllis confrontation. Lame ass Carmen substitute ain't doing the trick, but I'll see how this goes. Still, I want a Phyllis/Dru smackdown!

Anybody else feel cheated? :(

I do. Because by rights, Dru should have been the one to out Phyliss on her baby daddy situation. I like both characters, but Phyliss was dead wrong. None of her business.

What friendship? Sharon is all about Sharon. When the paternity reveal occurred, I don't recall Sharon offering a listening ear to Dru. When Dru tries to talk to Sharon, Sharon is off in la la land thinking about Brad, or Nick, or the kidnappers, or God knows what else. And the only reason why Sharon wants Dru around now is because Brad ain't leaving Victoria, so she ain't got nobody. Basically, Sharon is about anything but Dru and her issues.

Dru is Sharon's friend, but I don't see Sharon as Dru's friend. Dru/Sharon "friendship" is no more real than the supposed Neil/Nick "friendship."

Sharon/Dru is a very poor substitute for the Dru/Phyllis rivalry.

But then again, we can't have a Dru/Phyllis rivalry as long as Phyllis is being peddled as the Saint of GC.

 Dru/Phyllis

I love their rivalry, especially in the beginning when it was more fun, and they have the best chemistry together.

The Sharon/Dru friendship is growing on me a little bit. Last week, it appeared that Sharon finally reciprocated their relationship a bit by listening to Dru's marital woes, putting her kidnapping on the backburner, and letting her stay at her home. Hopefully, it will continue to be two-sided, because it definitely started out one-sided with it being all about Sharon.

You'd think Dru making friends with Sharon would mean more Dru/Phyllis confrontations. As much as Phyllis is on these days, perhaps she could remove her lips from Nicks ass every once in awhile and spend some time with other characters.

A little, but at the same time... I don't feel like watching another person throw Lily's paternity in her face, and knowing the writers they would have Phyllis also mention her and Neil's marriage while getting the last word in too.

I am a bit surprised that they are still continuing the Dru/Sharon "friendship" or whatever it is now. It still has a long way to go though. It is nice seeing Dru actually talking about her problems with somone who isn't family (though it seems like Sharon is barely listening half of the time).

I like their friendship. Or whatever it is they have going on.

I love the Dru/Sharon friendship. It makes sense and has progressed naturally. They play off each other well

As far as Sharon not being there for the paternity reveal, correct me if Im wrong but I dont think she even knows about it. Thats something Dru has kept to herself and outside of the family and Phyllis, Neil is the father in everyone's eyes. I dont think she's even told Sharon about sleeping with Malcolm. In Sharon's defense, in the past, she's inquired more about Dru's marital problems but Dru would turn it back around on her and tell her not to worry about it and would say stuff like "Id rather hear whats going on with you" I do like that Dru is becoming more comfortable with Sharon and finally starting to open up to her. Sharon's been a good friend and both women need that

Dru is just damn much, lol. I like the chemistry between Sharon and Dru, it's excellent. It's nice to see a strong female friendship.

One thing though, is that many times, both Sharon and Dru are too self absorbed to really listen and care about what the other is saying. It's nice to see some openess between the two.

And whoa, Sharon and Dru used to be against each other? And Sharon and Phyllis used to be friends? What was up with that?
