  1. As long as Anne was playing the twins, she used specifically different voices. It seems to me that Ellen Wheeler did, too. But, I don't think Jensen ever did.
  2. I don't watch them live, like I used to. I just end up catching them later.
  3. I thought that today LW was extremely effective showing her regrets the morning after & how badly she is now thinking that she wishes she had thought things through better, last night. Also I expect she is hearing Jason in her head & he's saying, "GIrl, what is wrong with you?"
  4. No question about it. Anyone in Hair could have done better.
  5. The thing to me about Justine was the juxtaposition. It began quite nicely but it ended so terribly awful. I know from interviews that this was VW's take on it as well, She liked it when it was pitched to her & also when the acting started but absolutely hated it by the time it really got going good & at that point, we were stuck because it just had to be played out till its conclusion. I loved the addition of Rose on ATWT. My only beef there is that it was designed to continue for about 2 more years but due to executive decision-making it was very abruptly foreshortened with an awkward death by an unlikely killer Of course, the Love/Hudson twins were excellent almost all of the time. At AMC Cindy & Karen were great examples. And, always there the example of Adam & Stuart was rather amazing. It's true that they came up with an Erica lookalike, Jane, and she was as plain as the name suggests. Also lame. The identical cousins played by Julianne Moore on ATWT have been mentioned. On Santa Barbara the actual twin brothers, Quinn & Robert, worked quite well. On AW, Cass's evil twin Rex was pretty bad. It's been pointed out recently that P&G spent big bucks on the tech & on getting it right, so of course, they wanted to use it as many times as they could. And, still we all hated the Marley wig!!!
  6. They were a famous pairing.
  7. I'm not allowed to say why but you're in luck, you can mark Bree Williamson off of your list. Bree is not.
  8. So, at one point I had 3 files devoted to DOGS. One was memorabilia, art cards, cigarette cards, all the covers of the McDuff books & like that. Next folder Dogs in Mississippi. Self-explanatory, but these pix go back into the 80s & include numerous litters of Westie puppies. Next folder, Dogs of Georgia, also explains itself, but contemporary. So, I thought, I'll streamline & put it all into one big folder, just called DOGS. Obviously, after I did this, the WORST happened. The whole dang folder vanished. I can't pinpoint exactly when but at Christmas I got a new computer. I used an external HD & a switcher to transfer files. I've gone crazy over this. Tried so many different things. Today, a miracle happened. Melissa found that HD & a copy of it is on there! I'll have them back sometime tomorrow. I am delirious. Possibly I may be asking you if you would be willing to house an extra copy!
  9. That's very interesting. I just looked at a Rumble channel of mine. ATWT & GL between 1952 & 1979, 77 episodes. ATWT 1957, 1958, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1966, 1972, 1978, 1979. As you can see, only one year in that range is represented: 1972 & it's only one episode. 1979 has 18 episodes.
  10. I'm making a note of this. Ranger said this on Wed., 9-4-24. I hope that by Nov. sweeps you might have to, oh, I don't know, maybe eat your hat. I say this knowing I could be totally wrong. As long as we keep talking, keep watching & generally have a blast!
  11. I'm not sure anyone even got fed! If you recall, Monica had invited all these people to supper. Supper was being held because Willow wasn't home yet.
  12. I have been totally & completely against this story. But, if it's going to be played for laughs, then, maybe that might be okay.
  13. A tool in the sense of someone who is used for something or a tool in the sense of a dweeb? Not that it matters, at all, just wondering.
  14. But, in fact, for a number of weeks Cates has been completely out of control. So, are you saying you wish they had not written it so John Jagger/Wagger went completely off the rails? It still may happen.
  15. You bring up an important point. The "how" of the situation with JGL is one of the things that bothers fans a great deal. I think the fan campaign about Alarr was definitely a contributing factor. But, I have to look at the timing. Fran Drescher had people from the union meet with Corday & someone from Sony. It was immediately after that meeting that the firing was announced. Yes, I moved from change.org petitions specifically to more generally, fan campaigns. The change.org petitions I am aware of that were successful had nothing to do with soaps, or even entertainment, at all.
  16. Yes, some change.org petitions have prevailed. It's not really much time or energy involved. I've been involved in several fan campaigns. Only two have prevailed. AW: Saving Donna Love. DAYS: Firing Albert Alarr. Other DAYS fans claim getting Dena Higley fired. Specifically, the Beverlee McKinsey petition, well, I got this lovely email but they do not award Posthumous Emmys.
  17. Actually, there are 3. This is the one with the most signatures. https://www.change.org/p/retain-kelly-monaco-in-the-cast-of-general-hospital?source_location=search Also of course, we have one for Blaze. https://www.change.org/p/reinstate-jaqueline-grace-lopez-in-gh-as-blaze
  18. Squeaking by on topicality, if any of you are planning to watch the latest "State of Mind" with Sarah Joy Brown be forewarned that it is extremely difficult to hear. Sarah was roofied & raped & she tells the whole story & it makes you want to scream, cry, hug Sarah, etc. It also makes you realize it's no longer possible to let someone you don't know, buy you a drink.
  19. The thing is, and probably no one here is going to agree with me, but I believe there is this small chance that Mo is considering retiring. I know he's talked about it many times & he clearly was not nearly ready any of those times. But, now, he has a new wrinkle to deal with. When it comes to his bipolar he knows that thing, going & coming, but this new business, of his nearly crippling anxiety, now, that's not something he's got a handle on. I believe it's a real problem for him & this story really brought it on like gangbusters. For that reason, and only that reason, I am one who thinks there is this slight, small chance of a real change in the trajectory for current Sonny. We'll see. This may go nowhere new. Frankly, I hope it does happen. Only removing or drastically changing the Sonny chess piece will cause any real change. Everyone knows this. My saying it is redundant, sorry. One more thing. I too think Frank is safe. But, I've come to believe that the reason that is so, is that there's no one at Disney who knows enough about soaps to see what should & shouldn't be done. In their ignorance Frank hgas this pocket of safety.
