  1. Ugh! Miami delivers again! I am glad that Guerdy is finding her voice, but she has to stop with their weird ass sayings and trying to be deep or funny. It ain't landing and what she is saying, if she'd just say it clearly, holds validity. I do think that there is a hierarchy that consists of Alexia, Larsa, and Marysol at the top, Kiki and Lisa in the middle, and the rest at the bottom. The ending of the episode was good. In one scene, we have Kiki delivering hilarity about wanting to each chips while Adriana fumes over the women not supporting her. Then we're pulled at our heartstrings as Lisa rehashes seeing that sleaze and his tramp flaunt their affair in her face in public. Lastly, we have Larsa dropping a potential bomb about Julia. This is how I want Housewives to be--a rollercoaster of emotions for me. I don't know who the EP is for this show, but they need to be given the role of overseer for the entire franchise.
  2. @JamesF, I'd imagine that Amazon is going to renew the show given that it was highly watched and trending the weekend it debuted. They'd be foolish to cancel it. I just hope more people on the forum eventually watch it b/c it is the good, boardroom soapiness that fans have been yearning for, for years.
  3. I don't want her poor ass back. Sometimes, some housewives need to be left in the past and she is one of them. She made the show toxic and when she left, it took seasons to get the show back on the track. The ONLY BH housewives that I want to see return are LVP, Kim, Joyce, or Camille. The rest can do a cameo at the most. Brandi has always given me OC vibes. If they are so desperate to have, implant her ass in OC. And if Brandi is coming back then we might as well bring back Kelly Dodd and the Dallas girls. Why let one racist return and not the rest? Moving on, any new city needs to be on Peacock. I'd prefer if Peacock did their own cities separate from Bravo. Peacock seems to get where Housewives (as a franchise) needs to go. I say start doing a plethora of their own cities, which can be the future. Then gradually, we can start phasing out the old ones. I hope they attempt to do Grosse Pointe, Seattle, and Vegas too. Possibly London for an international city.
  4. I've been hearing that NOLA is the next city and Tamica from Southern Charm NOLA is there. I think she is a great casting choice. I loved her on that show. They need to bring dramatic, messy a** Reagan from the show on there too. I still don't get why they cancelled that Southern Charm as it was the best one of the bunch. Overall, I hope this is a Peacock show. Also, have y'all seen that tweet from Blandi Trashville? Bravo better not be bringing her broke a** back to Beverly Hills. We already have repulsive Rinna and Erotika Lame. We don't need another vile bird squawking about.
  5. @CatPotomac got dull real quick. And I am not eager to watch Karen become the target yet again for the remainder of the season over old ass rumors. This is why I stand firm that the show is going to have to cut about 3-4 women this women and start fresh.
  6. Now that you've highlighted it, I do see what you are saying. He literally did transform into Louie. Sad how Cedars really became an afterthought on this show when it was the main staple of a lot of the show's memorable stories and characters.
  7. Miami: That episode was GOOD. Bravo really needs to give all the Housewives shows to Peacock b/c Miami is killing all the Bravo versions. First off, Lenny is a monster. A man that kicks his own mother out of his home is utter trash. He was too busy trying to get his d*ck wet instead of worrying about the well-being of his kids. Lisa is better than me, I would be using all of this in court (if she isn't already). The fact that he is doing this in the marital home shows he never had respect for Lisa. Love Guerdy but she can be too much at times. Sometimes, Guerdy needs to just sit back and shut up. I did agree with Larsa that Lisa probably wanted to hear info from the women that have experienced divorce. But I did love Guerdy standing up for herself and saying she has an opinion and will express it. Moving on to Alexia. I like Alexia but she tripping this season. Why did think it OK to insult Julia like that? Julia turning it on her (along with Adriana) was hilarity. Alexia got very defensive when they brought up Cocaine Cowboys, hence why she turned her fangs on Adriana. Alexia is about to activate Julia and make her work for that mojito. And Kiki... Give that woman a mojito off this episode alone. The shade she threw toward Lenny's head and him not being trustworthy had me screaming. They better allow her a seat on the reunion couch this year. Lastly, Marysol told her business for the free. Now we know you're a cokehead (allegedly), ma'am.
  8. I am so glad they gave them updated photos. Hopefully the intro is updated too. The new housewives look like they are going to provide plenty of entertainment and group dynamic changes.
  9. Especially not Goutman's ATWT. If you weren't a Snyder, you were nonexistent. I grew to hate the Snyder farm set.
  10. I would've welcomed Don returning for the simple fact it would've given Lisa something to do other than popping up at the front counter at the Lakeview to check people in, which is all she was reduced to the final years of the show. They could've easily killed Mary offscreen and had Don, the grieving widower, return to Oakdale to be around family again. Lisa would be a shoulder for him to cry on, but Bob would be bothered by the union as he'd feel it would've been too soon for Don to get involved with someone (better yet Lisa) so soon. And Don could've been the legal sage that Chris was decades before. He could've reopened the Hughes law firm with Tom and Bonnie. Casey could've eventually been an intern. Christina and Ryder could've been brought back in capacity to beef up the Hughes clan yet again. So much potential lost forever.
  11. @Cat, I don't even think that Julia is a simply a homebody. I think Julia only feels fulfilled if she has a child or animal to oversee. She has no sense of self. I do agree that Martina is Lenny a year ago. Julia better tighten up or she will be Lisa in a year or two. Julia needs to realize that life is just beginning now that she has an empty nest. She should be thrilled. Now she and Martina can have tons of sexy time and travel. That's what I'd do. Again, this is why I love Miami. Their personal dramas aren't faked and are way more endearing than any fight over stupid stuff amongst the women.
  12. I just think with Carly, they always made her zero focus on the fact that Jack was the only man for her. Meanwhile, Jack, who I do love, was able to have many loves as you pointed out. It just would've been refreshing to see Carly have that as well. She got pigeonholed at times. And don't get me started about Carly and fashion line. Again, I just think the show did a huge disservice to her--all the characters when it came to their careers. I think that soaps steering away from workplace drama and dynamics ruined all these shows. If we look back at ATWT's 2nd "Golden Age," Marland having ALL the characters being career driven and ambitious is what provided so much drama throughout the canvas. Hell, early to mid 90s, workplace stories is what made the CBS (and Another World on NBC) HOT! I miss boardroom drama where we had either rivaling companies trying to get their product to the top, OR the inner workings of employees trying claw their way to the top. It was a concept that we all understand whether we worked for corporate America or simply worked at Kmart.
  13. Yes, I agree that it always bothered me that Carly never really had a stellar romance outside of Jack. She always ended up being the one getting the short end of the stick. This is why in the later years, if they weren't going to have her happy with Jack or provide her with a stable relationship, immerse Carly in stories about her opening a fashion house with Lisa and Barbara (which would've provided tons of drama given the three women's history with each other) or stories about her kids or Rosanna. But I stand firm that they flopped hard with Wally Kurth. The man had 2 successful runs on 2 popular soaps (GH and DAYS) in 2 popular pairings(Lois/Ned and Adrienne/Justin). If I were on staff and we were so adamant about stunt casting, it would've been stunt casting done right. When it comes to Stuart Damon, he seemed fine at that point. He didn't even need to be Don, just an older male lead that was going to stick around a bit longer. I would've had him in the orbits of Lucinda and Lisa--both women vying for his attention. Just all this talk about what could've been aggravates me b/c I feel out of all the soaps that were canceled in the last decade, I feel like ATWT had the components to be saved (along with P&G/Televest selling the show to CBS like they asked) if TIIC actually used the show's rich history. I will never understand how these people make it so hard to compile a compelling story for a 50+ year old show.
  14. Judi Evans was on ATWT the final stint? I am wracking my brain now trying to remember who she was. See... That's a problem. I didn't mind Lynn Herring as Henry's mom; however, tying her to James Stenbeck was stupid. James having another b*stard running amok was old and played out. We had already seen it be done twice with David and Jordan. Plus, I always hated that soaps in the modern era always felt they had to make everyone on the canvas related in some way. I think Henry's mother being a meddlesome, money hungry minx that hated Henry with Barbara but LOVED Barbara's fortune would've sufficed. I didn't mind Daniel Hugh Kelly as Noah's dad either but making him want to kill was Luke was too much. And the Ameera story was stupid too. If they were going to have him unravel over Noah being gay, that should've been something long, logical, and drawn out over years.
  15. Can I just say that it ALWAYS bothered me that Wally Kurth was wasted as Sam the rapist? I always felt that they should've recast him as Seth or Caleb, as he had good chemistry with Maura. I always felt the show wasted Billy Warlock and Stuart Damon too. Yes, they were snatch and grabs, but they could've easily been cast and legacy characters instead of stupid characters no one cared about. Stuart could've easily been a Don recast. And Billy could've easily been Scott Eldridge or Duke Kramer.
  16. If Jen isn't there then they can skip a reunion altogether. The remaining 4 are not engaging enough to even bother watching.
  17. MIAMI: Yet another stellar episode. Overall, Lenny is a monster. How he wanted to go play tennis instead of taking care of his children was appalling. And then demanding Lisa and the kids get out the house is even worse. I hope Lisa takes him to the cleaners. This show does not need cast fights and rifts b/c their personal dramas end up being WAY more entertaining. And I think Martina is gonna leave Julia very shortly. Did Julia honestly believe her kids were going to live with her forever? She better create new hobbies and routines or her ass will end up like Lisa.
  18. I have watched the first 3 episodes, thus far, and I feel like Lisa acting out was b/c she and Lenny have been having problems. We could tell last year that the man loathed her. And I am with Kiki that Lenny losing weight and beefing up was not for Lisa--it was painfully obvious it was for another woman. Lisa is a nag, but Lenny has officially become the worst husband in a LONG time. How he spoke to her when the nanny broke her arm was weird. I think he could've easily let Lisa know that calling the ambulance for a broken arm is silly in a calmer manner. He was snappy. Jesus.
  19. I felt the show was strong and good from start to finish. I am not a binge watcher as I watch things in increments; however, I watched the entire season from start to finish as it was that good.
  20. An EPIC hot mic moment featuring Lenny will be on the first episodes of Miami. Here's a sneak peek:
  21. Candiace is an emotional blackmailer and that's the main reason why I haven't taken to her since season 5. She can say all she wants about people saying they're lying and gaslighting, but she does the same actions too. She knew damn well she told Ashley that Karen was sleeping around and when she started crying, I became annoyed. The whole scene hurt as Karen was truly heartbroken and borderline near tears that Candiace would do that--the same woman just b*tching and moaning about Gizelle perpetuating a lie about her. And Bravo needs to fining or firing these women when they try and ice someone out the ensemble. It is tiresome at this point. While Mia think that the GEBs won't turn on her, she is sadly mistaken. Everyone gets their turn with those 2.
  22. I just finished the last (6th) episode, and it is GOOD. We end with a juicy cliffhanger. I need them to hurry up and get started on season 2. This is a nice, juicy, luxurious soap. I felt like I was watch early 90s B&B and Y&R again with the boardroom antics and double-dealings. You will love it!
  23. I am on episode 2 and this show is good!!! @Taoboi @Cat @DaytimeFan@Vee @DRW50 @Chris B--are you all watching?!
  24. I am so ready for Miami to return. They are once again emerging as my favorite franchise. Simply because their real stories are just as juicy and real as the cast dynamics.
